on the xbox live forums on xbox.com. visit the laidback gamer forum. its full of like minded people like yourself. me included paladin917, also a father,30, from Boston, MA. dont like dealing with childish people, but if they happen to end up on my team usually i just ignore them.

Ill be honest though, if PSN charged a fee, but provided a service comparable to XBL, I would pay for it. I also thinK that when Home comes out there will be different teirs of membership for the PSN. Theres no way Sony can continue to do it for free. They probably just wanna be able to say(and they have said it before) that microsoft charges a fee for XBL Gold(not silver, they never seem to mention that)and their service is free.......for now. also a couple of weeks ago i was on xbox.com and filled out some kind of survey in regards to XBL and the DLC and speed. one of the questions were: if XBL offered a new service with faster downloads would you/I pay for it and how much would you pay..........maybe this could mean another membership level is in the works(platinum or Diamond maybe......hmmmmmmmm)

I agree with wanker. I own both ps3 and 360 and i am more than happy to pay 50 bucks a year(4 dollars a month) for XBL the psn network sux big time. and you do know that you dont have to pay for XBL....just set up a silver account and stop cryin about it. XBL silver is still way better that the ps network. To put it all in perspective YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Gamestopwill not let you, only cuz they have to give you the same model you purchased. But its hard to say now that the price dropped. they may just tell you to send it back to microsoft....

I have owed (at one time or another) just about every gaming system that came out. Well except the ones that were expensive like the neo geo, 3d0, 32x and so on. But I will say, and im surprised noone has said this yet, that XBOX live is the main reason. the PS3 network is pretty corny. People will say how its free and try to diss the 360 cuz you gotta pay. honestly I think even Xbox live Silver is still way better that the PS3 online service, and its also free. The games also had a lot to do with it, and the multiplayer. The thing that made me get the 360 first(yes I own a PS3 also) was the fact that sony and its fanboys always say how good the system iswhen every game i see on the PS3 i beleive can be done on the 360. And the 360 is less expensive.
