@drivemanner: I used to blame Bioware but then I realized they are most likely at the mercy of their corporate overlords EA. Forcing them to release unfinished games while knowing all along they aren't ready for release. "Release now and patch later" should be the EA corporate slogan.

There is no question that this game deserved criticism. There are plenty of YouTube videos to back that up. EA is known for releasing unfinished games and that is exactly what this game was: unfinished. If they waited another 6 to 8 months to polish everything instead of giving in to investor greed, the reviews would have been better. The gameplay is fantastic IMO but the crap animations and bugs were unforgiveable. EA should've known better to do this to a proven franchise especially after the ending to Mass Effect 3. Look at what happened with that. People were outraged because that ending was clearly rushed to meet some deadline. You have an epic buildup spanning three great games until the ending which was so lackluster and unfinished that they had to go back and release an extended cut. I'm about done with EA and their greed. And now with Anthem on the way, I'm not spending a dime on that until I read some good reviews that aren't bought and paid for. Lets hope it isn't rushed as well to meet some deadline with patches and updates that follow later on to fix what should have been fixed to begin with.

Are people seriously trying to make sense of a fantasy show? It is for entertainment, not logic. Yes I would like some things to make sense as far as continuity but that could be left out for reasons like time and money. It is a tv show after all and budgets must be met as well as time allotment. It is like whining about Star Wars and the logic of midi-chlorians. Everything isn't always logical and that could be from scenes that didn't make the final cut. Movies do it all the time by leaving out plot points that may assist with character development but accept it for what it is. It was fun to watch.

The only true EA franchise: MONEY! Why would they support this game any longer when their yearly cash cow Madden and Battlefield are on the way. EA isn't making any more money on Andromeda anyway except maybe those buying it for $10 from a bargain bin. They destroyed this franchise due to greed because it was clearly rushed and they gave us a broken game. They do it with Battlefield all the time and promise to fix it later with patches. Typical EA practices. I will not put down a dime on Anthem until I see multiple reviews from honest sites that aren't getting paid off to praise a game that may be utter crap.

After reading many of the comments here, it is clear that the whole streaming thing is encouraging people to pirate. I can't hardly blame anyone for making that choice because we aren't left with many options unless we want to pay 10 different services $10 a month to watch one or two shows. I was pissed that Netflix has lost all the Fox shows I love like Futurama, American Dad, and Bob's Burgers but Hulu owns those now. So if I want to watch those, another $10 a month to Hulu. Now Disney is expecting Netflix customers to pay another site and unknown amount a month to another service just to watch a couple of their shows??? I'd rather pay to keep pirating sites alive at this point.

@mirage_so3: Netflix is relying too much on their original programming and letting key shows that I love watching go to Hulu when that was the original reason I signed up with their service. I don't want multiple subscriptions to every company who wants to copy the Netflix format.

I'm tired of Netflix removing shows that are worthwhile and filling space with movies like Wild Wild West. They are relying too much on original programs; which many are great, but I don't want to have to get Hulu to watch what Netflix keeps letting go of like American Dad, Futurama, and others.

@SchNerdy: Exactly. How are they going to make a follow up since the series revolved around the tapes from a girl who committed suicide and why she did it. A second season seems like a slap in the face of the original which was fantastic. People can't leave well enough alone. Will season 2 be thirteen reasons why the other bullied kid goes on a shooting spree?
