Also for example that crazy lady you foot race with Michael...I did her first mission, and she becomes a contact, nothing happens afterwards, no other missions or side quest or whatever you call them from her and it's been about 5-6hrs since I did that first one. I just feel like my game is having issues not spawning these random events and "?" Quest.

I got the street race one already but later in the game. I seem to not get many "?" Missions popping up, so I don't know what that's all about. I also feel like I keep getting the same vehicles over and over and I know there are tons more. I can barely find bikes(bmx etc.) and I haven't even seen one scooter. Granted I've mostly stayed in the city and don't even have most the desert area uncovered...I haven't even beem to mnt. Chiliad yet lol. Maybe the game is just so massive it feels a bit overwhelming and yet so underwhelming cuz I haven't seen much lol

I feel like I'm missing a lot of random events and I feel like I'm just missing out on a lot of stuff in this game and I don't know why. My friend from the very beginning was able to get street races and I didn't even get them Til later on (SPOILERS: I got them after the torture mission with Trevor and Michael). My friend also has told me he's gotten lots of random events during his game(and he's behind me) and all I get are the people stealing wallets. Idk is it just me? or is everyone's game different and events happen less for others? etc?

I am by no means a professional reviewer, so here is my pointless useless opinion/review.

In the dark room of an abandoned house, you quietly search shelves for medical supplies, and food. Your group of survivors desperately depend on you, some getting sick, some starving. The moaning of zombies seem to be right outside the house. You start to panic a bit, but you are in the clear for now. You move from the shelf to a cabinet, then to a fridge. You're good to go, then a bang on the door, and the shattering of glass from a window. Those moaning zombies now grab onto you, with your supplies strapped to your back. It's okay, it's only two of them, you tell yourself in your head, I can handle this. You grab your plank of wood and smash in both there brains. You slowly exit and creep across the street, only to be spotted by more zombies, this time it's a hoard, the shuffle becomes a sprint. What do I do? Do I drop this bag of supplies, or do I try to run in hopes to get to a car before my stamina drastically falls and I tire? It's situations like these, out of many, that make State of Decay one of the best zombie games of all time.

STORY- In all honesty, I have not beaten the game to give a full review of the story, but I have some thoughts on it I would like to share. The story is typical Zombie survival stuff so far. It's not a fully fleshed out story and the thing about that is, the way the game is, the type of game it is, it works best to not have a full story, with dragged out cut-scenes and a deep plot. It's a survival game, in which any character you play as could die forever, so having a deep plot and a fully fleshed out story would work against the gameplay and survival aspects, but what is here, is decent stuff. SCORE:8/10

GRAPHICS/TECHNICAL-I am not someone who tends to nit-pick at graphics, but for the sake of review, I will go over my opinion on the graphics for those who care. Although not A+ quality graphics like you find in most games nowadays they aren't the crappiest I've seen. There is a lot of clipping, and pop-in and although constant, it is not game breaking at all. I for one have never had issues with pop-in in other games, it never takes away from the game in my opinion. Although not the best looking game, there are moments of beauty to be seen, and the game resembles that of another great Zombie game, TellTale's The Walking Dead. The frame rate dips often, but I have not encountered moments where it was bad enough to interrupt the game play. I also have not noticed any screen tearing as others have spoken of. Most of the technical issues seem to be easily fixed with a patch, which at the rate this game is selling (congrats Undead Labs on that), I am sure it will be fixed and patched. With the 2gb limit for Xbox Arcade, and the sheer amount of things to do in this game, I understand why this game isn't the most eye catching game, but again, far from an eye sore, and far from game breaking. SCORE: 8.5/10

SOUND-The music is something that this games seems to be lacking in. What I can remember, I only have heard music a couple of times in this game. I can't tell you if I even experienced music during tense moments? I could just not be paying attention to it (too busy scared out of my mind of dying) to realize it's there. The voice acting is good, but is it me or do some of the characters sound like each other? With my surround sound set up it has helped me constantly to know where a zombie might be coming from which is something you definitely need to know. The zombies sound great with there growls, and moans, and disgusting gurgle. Although I pointed out the sound helping me locate where a zombie might be, I've also encountered moments where I hear a zombie/zombies close by but there are none to be seen, I'm pretty sure this is just to make us players very paranoid when searching a building for some supplies, and although effective at doing so, it also makes it difficult to know when there is an actual zombie near by. I can't tell you how guns sound since I've only fired a pistol a few times. All in all, its a good sounding game although lacking in music, and sometimes misleading sound, and certain characters sounding like each other (I have a white guy who sounds black? Sounds exactly like Marcus).SCORE: 7/10

GAMEPLAY- The gameplay shines. This is what a Zombie Survival game should be like. Situations get tense when you become attached to a character you've built up to be an awesome survivor, the main guy you go to to run your survival errands, and when things get tight and scary, you panic because perma-death is not a fun thing when you built into this character. Luckily I have not lost my main character. Phew. Everything done in this game is something that hasn't been done, or at least done properly(The Walking Dead Survival Instinct). The driving is a bit iffy, but it isn't terrible, this game is not a driving game, so I don't expect real physics and for the driving to feel tight...at least it is no Alan Wake driving. The melee is simple, push X to smack in some heads, Hold LB and Y to finish them off(or your sneak attack move). It's simple, it's by far not breaking any grounds but it works. The shooting, although barely used by me feels a bit awkward, but nothing to complain about, you shouldn't use your guns unless you NEED to. I see it as, you are a regular guy, you aren't going to easily pop off head shots. The highlight of this game is the survival gameplay. Sneaking into houses, helping survivors, getting to point a to point b without getting eaten alive, building up your safe haven, making sure that your other survivors are well kept, have the food, and the meds needed. Everything is extremely well done that the occasional wonky driving and simple melee just seem like the smaller part of the whole game experience. I have never been so fearful of losing a character before. This to me isn't just a game, but an experience. One that everyone should try out. Sure, this game seems like a game where a lot of things should of been added and thought about, hunting/co-op etc.(co-op a definite need), but for 20$ and for only having 2gb to work on...Undead Labs created a masterpiece in the Zombie genre that no one has ever done before, and I've enjoyed every minute of it, and will recommend it to all my xbox playing friend! SCORE: 9/10

FINAL SCORE: 9.5/10 Zombie heads

Not a bad review actually. I won't lie, I feel good when people speak positively lol. Though I can't help but wonder why you didn't post this in the review section. Oh well nevermind.DamnILoveGames
Thank you, I'm not a pro at reviews, but I just like to give an honest opinion that isn't ever biased. I ended up posting it there. I completely forgot it exist! I've had this account for a long time and stopped using it until recently, so it slipped my mind!

Hello. Here is my pointless review/opinion to share with the masses (Including Battle Stick Review).

I will like to state first off that I am a huge comic/superhero fan, be it movies, comics,TV, video games, I love superheroes, Batman being my favorite. I am not a fan of fighting games. I did personally love MK9(ps3/psvita), and I thought Capcom vs Marvel on my PSVita was just okay (Don't care for STREET FIGHTER). So what did I think of this game?

Story: As a super hero lover, and a batman fan, I found the story to be excellent. It's typical superhero fun. The story is short, very short...kind of ridiculously short, but its good from beginning to end(Yes, I read the prequel comics). It's unfortunate that you don't play as all the characters throughout the story, but that's just a small complaint(i mean you can play all of them from the get go.). Although it is short, there is enough to keep you going in other features. 8.0/10

Gameplay- Loved it. It feels a lot like MK9 yet the mechanics are slightly different to not feel EXACTLY like MK9. I enjoy the mechanics a lot more in INJUSTICE over MK9. It's easy to pick up for a fighting game for anyone who is not good at fighting games(or games in general/like my girlfriend who enjoys this game), but also it is technical enough for people who love fighting games and are good at them. Some people complain about balance issues. I haven't noticed any. I recently had a discussion with my friend about this game when he said Superman was OP. I disagreed. I think each character plays very differently, I believe that it all matters on YOUR play style, what type of fighter fits you(then again, not a fighter fan so don't quote me on my logic). The environment usage also make for a very fun, and sometimes strategic fight, and the super moves are super sweet. 9/10

Graphics- Another issue people seem to have are with the Cutscene graphics. I had no problem with them at all. I think they fit the style of this game, it seems pretty stupid to nitpick at graphics anyways, but I'm gonna give my God damn opinion anyways. During the awesome fighting, the graphics are gorgeous, the character models are sweet, and it's cool to see all these DC comic heroes rendered so amazingly in this game! The destruction looks amazing, and all the super moves look stylishly cool and sometimes jaw dropping(until they get old). The arena transfers look just as amazing as the super moves(question for anyone who reads this far: are there any arena transfers in the Atlantis level? And the fighter jet hanger??). 9/10

Sound- The sound effect in this game are poweful. From the punches, to the laser beems, to the batmobile ramming into Superman, and the flash running across the world to deliver booming strikes upon your foe! The music is also enjoyable with the very typical Heroic sounding music you get from superhero games/movies. Whats with the Red Sun music though? The voice acting is top notch, hearing Kevin Conroy as Batman is always a plus, although Mark Hamill is amazing as Joker, I have no issues with Richard Epcar. Also to hear that Stephen Amell did Green Arrow was sweet. Being a fan of the show!! Can I get an TV ARROW skin from one of you? Haha. 9/10

OTHER features/Replay Value: There is a lot here. From Story mode, to Battles with different scenarios, online multiplayer( lots of assclowns on here that spam, but I suck anyways so I stay off online, I did win ONE ranked match for my damn Yellow Green Lantern!), S.T.A.R Labs which has tons of mini-games for all 24 fighters. I'll go into S.T.A.R Labs a bit. I enjoy it. Some of the mini-games rank from really fun to plain crappy, but it's enjoyable, if not a bit hard on some occasions(Catwoman bleeding out against nightwing?? What the hell, I just suck). There is also a lot of unlockables to be unlocked as well!!  So if you like to unlock stuff, play some mini games, beat some spammers ass online, have a friend come over for some 1 on 1, this game will last you a while, you'll keep coming for more and more! -9/10

Now a bonus review- THE BATTLE STICK!

As a non fan of fighters I was skeptical of getting this, but also someone who loved MK9 on PS3 and then getting rid of my PS3 for an Xbox 360 and playing a copy of MK9 on my 360 and hating the crap out of the controller, I decided to purchase the Battle Edition. At first it took me a while to get use to the stick...like 5mins. Haha. I had an issue getting my character to jump back or forwards for some reason for almost 5 hrs! Then suddenly it started working...maybe I just sucked at figuring out how to jump, or maybe it fixed itself with constant playing (my friend didn't have this problem on his). I do not regret this purchase. It almost feels like you NEED this stick to play. It just feels so good and natural to play the game with this. The build quality is excellent and stick itself is very light. You can play it on a counter or your lap and it feels right either way. The glowing blue lights also look sweet. They have a setting for On/off/Pulsing. I have no Idea what pulsing does, it seems to not work...I think this is a wide issue, as my friends doesn't either, nor some guy on the internet who reviewed the stick. So oh well, still the buttons and stick feel wonder, and the build is nice. If you didn't purchase INJUSTICE yet, and they have this bundle, get it...unless you own a stick! 10/10(PERFECT SCORE, only because I was so hating fighting games on 360 controller)

So finally finished(Haven't had much time due to work) so final useless/pointless opinion

Everything I first stated above. The game was fun. Again, it wasn't great. Not even near great. It's 100% not worth 50-60$ and maybe not even worth 30$. If this was an Xbox Arcade game for 15-20$ if would deff. of been better off received I think. The overall thing about a game is that it should be fun, and I had fun with it. Its beyond flawed, but nonetheless a fun game. I will be trading it in tomorrow for a pre-order of Injustice though! Lol
