Eventually, valve was going to do this. It's just a natural course of action after they are already half doing it with cs:go and dota 2.

I personally think mods should be left alone, keep monetization away from mods. Doesn't matter, the majority will accept this and it will be normal in 3-5 years.

Sequel is better, looks miles better (a given perhaps). Much smoother and more entertaining to navigate the city, better powers and more balanced enemies. First is pretty much fighting trashmen for 50% of the game, which I thought got old.

I can see Quantum Break hitting PC a year after it releases on Xbone. Good news about Alan Wake, I quite enjoyed it.

I think we knew it was coming back, now they just sneak it in there for all games.

I personally do not want modding to become money orientated, it should be about passion. This is really sad and I suspect most people will just accept it.

I don't think it was a great commercial. The star wars one was much better.

Crazy to think Halo 5 flopped on the xbone. Does not bode well for multiplayer numbers over the next few weeks as people move onto black ops 3, battlefront, fallout 4, tomb raider etc.

Life is strange is incredibly dull, I dont understand the praise surrounding the story or the dialog. The first and second episodes held my attention to a point, but I dont honestly feel like my actions ever had any consequence which renders the game entirely pointless IMHO.

Did you play the last three episodes? Your choices do make an impact. In fact whether Kate survives or not colors the rest of the game.

The praise to the story is from its willingness to take on dark themes as well has having a relationship between two characters that were emotionally deep in its themes.

Whether Kate lives or die is pretty much the only major choice that alters events, you still go to much the same places and do most of the same things. Some puzzles do change, one guy can get shot etc. Not saying it's bad, but it's hypocritical for other people to say that Telltale games have no choice and that Life is Strange has heaps.

I was worried they would come back with FO4. Hopefully this holds true.

Both are great games, but with different objectives.

Life is Strange goes for a more emotional angle and it succeeds. It gives you time to reflect and has some great scenes (composition). It also has a pretty neat time rewind mechanic and open areas you can explore

Borderlands goes more for comedy. It also succeeds. Characters are pretty awesome, situations are funny as hell and it even has some decent choices.

My vote in the end would be for Tales, and I dislike the Borderlands games from Gearbox.
