I was wondering since its seems really hard to get a fireteam together in-game.

You can invite players in-game too, but nobody ever joins.

I still think its a great game, but the matchmaking is terrible. Now everyone has had time to learn the game its now usually lop sided. That sucks because Respawn took time to make the weapons and abilities fairly balanced and then ruins it with shitty matchmaking. At least scramble the teams after each round to give the rest of them a chance.

Tell me what parts you are using and how much they cost and I will listen.

My mistake. 26 FPS with very high settings 4 x AA and 16 x AF. Without AA and AF it runs at about 36 FPS on my display.:)

I know its going to be budge system and the build I want to get won't run Crysis, but the game I want to run is World in Conflict. The CPU will be dual core 2.3 GHZ and 4 GB. The video card I want to use for now, is one ATI 4830.

I checked some benchmark tests on very high settings with no AA or AF and it got about 26 fps. Does anybody know if that is acceptable for a RTS? I am willing to run at lower visual settings , but I need a solid framerate.

Thanks.

OK, thanks for the info. I'll definitely go with pre-buildt if its the cheaper way to go.

But, would either setup work for the games I want to play?

I'm a PC noob and I'm looking to replace my old computer with one that is at least able to handle some RTS and FPS released over the past 2-3 years like World in Conflict, Company of Heroes, SWAT 4 and STALKER.

I've been looking to spend on the low end( no more than $1500 CDN) and I wanted some feedback on how a couple of options would fare if I tried to run these games.

1)DellXPS630:Intel 2 Quad 9300, 2.5 ghz, NVidia GForce 9800 GT 512mb, 6GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM

2)HP Intel Core 2 Quad 8200, 2.33 ghz, NVidia 9500 GS, 4 GB RAM.

These two are quite different in pricing with the second one being about $400 cheaper than the first. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I probably average 4 hours a day over any given week.
