a little probably, i mean, in some ways you can't get as much hype as its getting without some of it being overboard

its a pretty good game nontheless though. with the recent success of P3 (no, i'm not clueless about the megaten series' history; yes, i know it has an old preexisting fanbase. but for the most part only the most hardcore of fans remember more than your last entry, and for megaten it was P3 and P3 was quite successful) (and before someone says it, yes, P3 IS part of the megaten franchise's umbrella. considering the counter argument is based on what the japanese title is, you won't find any japanese fan that says otherwise. only westerners trying to act hardcore and think they're getting some sort of cred by acting anal about the official japanese title say otherwise), its modern setting gets it some attention.

it also gets some extra hyping for its beyond the norm usage of the touch screen, but honestly the touch controls aren't really as tight as i personally would've liked them.

and finally it does have a fairly unique art style to it all

so TWEWY does have some merit to the acclaim its getting. but yes, some of its shortfalls (its story isn't THAT good, its controlls could be tighter, its characters are a little over the top with their angst) are getting glossed over with the hype

i'll just post to agree with most of the people here (just i'll be civil)

it definitely sounds like something on your end, not PS3s. my connection runs fine, my dl rate falls in line with what my PC gets, i get not randomly broken dls. everything functions exactly as it should. i don't even mind the inability to dl in the background of other activities because it dls fast enough that its not really an issue.

with all that being said, i don't have some super connection or mystical internet of speed (i have broadband yes, but nothing particularly special) and my PS3 works perfectly fine and smooth; so it can't be a problem with PS3s.

though i don't really remember any of the main storyline bosses being particularly HARD.  usually there was some trick to them that if you didn't prep for it you were looking at a tougher fight, but if you knew the trick, it was pretty easy.
