So I've had my ps4 for almost an entire year now and I am as disappointed in it now as I was the day it was bought for me (I did not ask for it). I can see how some of you would love the games coming out but I do not. The game system is blatantly just only marketed towards males. I am disappointed in this since Sony claimed to have wanted to gain more female players. I am very disappointed in the game selection. I don't want to play Assassins Creed 80, or Call of Duty 100. Destiny was a joke to say the least. They have not released one single decent horror series as of yet with the exception of RER2. There is almost nothing original at all, and most of the indie games are just plain stupid,mindless,low quality junk. I am also really tired of mine craft! It's cute the kids love it, but other than that and the 800 Lego games released there are no other decent kids games available and that is a minus for a mom in a console.

Adding to the irritation is the fact most games are being made as single player. so why then am I to be expected to pay each year for PS plus? To do what? Nothing. The entire point of online gaming is to play with other people. It would seem Sony is taking a step backwards in gaming. Furthering the irritation is the updates that don't do a whole lot of anything. The interface is still obnoxious and crowded, I cannot delete old messages either. Also is it just me or is there still not a decent headset or blue tooth for this console? Sony please don't ever make another console with hidden buttons on the outside where there is no label for the buttons. Ultimately for me the ps plus is just not worth it when the games are single player the free games suck, the discounts don't matter because the game selection is sub par.

Other annoying unacceptable features, the controllers battery life is absurd and they should be removed from the market and replaced with one that can stand up to more than an hour of use. The crummy little on ear headset needs replaced with a decent over head headset. My son tells me the console downloads the entire game from my disk to the PS4. WHY WOULD I WANT THAT! The whole point of the disk is so I DON"T use all my hard drive space!!

Sony needs more original titles, needs to resurrect some older series' in different genres, and make ALOT more games for kids and women. If they don't I will no longer be a Sony fan. Right now I can play most of the title from PS4 on PS3 and I am thinking about selling my PS4. I literally only use it to watch Netflix. I think this console is nowhere near to meeting the expectations I had for it.
