For as much whining as some of you do over a game that isn't even out yet, I bet more than half of you were among the retards praising RE4 for its dumbed-down and bastardized gameplay.
Well it isn't the first time Capcom's done this; they dumbed down RE4 in order to make it accessable to a wider audience. However at least that game wasn't overtly trying to be insulting. You'd think that a game like RE:UC which is supposed to reveal a major plot point in the series, the fall of Umbrella, would have been treated with more respect and care.
I've been a RE fan since RE2 on the PS1, and while I'm eager to see the fall of Umbrella I just can't get hyped over a game that is largely based on recycled material. Hopefully RE5 can give us a proper main RE game.
