Everyone has personal opinions but every judge is expected to ignore their personal opinions in ruling cases. So if you could claim this judge was bias you could claim every judge was bias for some specific case.

The funny thing is how many Hispanics support Prop 8, there's a huge contigent of Hispanic Catholics that basically got the thing passed. THere's also been a lot of support for Prop 8 within the black community, it never fails to amaze me how people who go through almost identical situations of discrimination are so slow and even opposed to the idea of helping others.
At any rate, I think they should do what they did way back in the day when homosexuals were first fighting for gay rights, they supported the labor unions in exchange for the unions' support in advancing gay rights. Perhaps the opposition to Prop 8 should consider the same type of thing with Hispanics and immigration.
