When they first came out, my gamer friends were either on PS3 or 360 or both. Now we've all migrated back to PC. I don't think I'll be buying the next console unless my PS3 dies (Bluray player) and I need a new bluray device.

AC2 is the only game that I've gotten all the achievements for (on 360). I beat it 100% in about 2 weeks. I've had revelations since release and have barely touched it. It just doesn't suck me in the same way AC2 did.

Great article. Want to know why I'm buying BF3 for ps3 instead of my newly upgraded PC? Origin. Check out its user agreement. The biggest threat to PC gaming is privacy.

Forgot to mention The Longest Journey, or Grim Fandango... perhaps the Monkey Island series? This article missed and entire GENRE (adventure) of games that are chock full of storytelling.

i own BOTH consoles, and if there's a game that comes out on both, I will buy it for 360. The 360 does have more processing power than the ps3, and in most games that are not console exclusive, the 360 looks better. But there's more to it than just graphics: the 360's online capabilities are MUCH better than the ps3. Yes it costs about \$5 a month, but you get what you pay for. The experience on the ps3 lacks many of the features that the xbox has had since it first came out (the original xbox). The menu system is much more intuitive on the 360. What's the upside of the ps3? Blu-ray, but how many games actually utilize that full 50gb of space for game content? None. Developers are lazy and just want a quick buck. Dragon Age is a RARE example of a game done right... it belongs on the top shelf with games like The Longest Journey, Grim Fandango, or Baldur's Gate. In the end, if you're choosing purely based on graphics, get the 360. If you're choosing purely based on your need to game, get the 360. If you care more about Bluray movies than games, get the ps3. PS. I rented a few games that I owned on 360, and played them both simultaneously, switching the input on my TV back and forth. That's how I did MY testing: in real life on my 1080p Sharp, not on a website with small resolution images.

i bought the Diamondback a couple years ago. One thing i noticed is that the extra money was well spent. Higher dpi is surprisingly noticable, even when i'm just in windows.
