Hey all, I know this should probobly go in GW forum, but it looky kind of dead, so here it goes. Does anyone still sctually play QW on XBL? And if there is still a pretty large amound of servers, is it true that there is a ton of lag if you don't have like...a top quality ISP? I have AT&T which is decent on my PC so I don't think there's any problem there, but just want to make sure. Thanks as always.

All I use is the official XBox 360 wireless adapter and a d-link wireless N router. Believe it or not it serves better than my hard wire connection. Have the modem (the thing provided by your internet service provider) be connected to your wireless N router via an ethernet cord. Then have your wireless adapter be connected to your XBox 360. If you are new to wireless networks, I recommend contacting customer support. Their help should have your wireless network up in 30 minutes. Once your wireless N router is configured properly, your XBox 360 should be able to automatically find your wireless N router with the wireless adapter plugged in. I do not think it matters which brand of wireless router you use. I switched to d-link due to their similar functionality to linksys and the price was better. If your house is very old it may be very bad for wireless technology due to there being many walls. This is why I use a wireless N router as opposed to a wireless G router. Hope this helps.ObsidianFrost

Yeah, I kinda see what you saying, except the part about the router, I never recived a router with this, only the little thing pictured in my original post.

Thanks guys, you've been very helpful so far...

Sup guys, been a while since i've been on GS, but I have a question about what i'll need for Xbox live, I have 2 little wireless adapter thingy's (bare with me, i'm not that much of a tech guy ;) ) that look like this (they are USB connected)...

What hardware will I need to connect, can I use these or do I have to also buy something like a linksys blue box router type thing? Plus, i'm pretty sure i'll need the 360 wireless adapter too. but what will I need other than that? Thanks in advance.
