Been a very long time since I posted, good to be back.

I just received LBP3 from Amazon UK and realized it is the US version. Does anyone know if I can still play community levels if my game is from a different region? I guess anyone who has an EU version in the US will also be able to answer this for me. If not I guess I will return it and ask for a different version but I am not too keen to do that personally. Many thanks.

I would expect a statement like this from fanboys but an actual executive in the industry?

Any reasonable person would agree that it is far too early to decide who the winner ks, if I remember correctly the PS3 was all but written off at the beginning og the generation but the little black box has done well for itself over the years. This was a very ignorant statement on his behalf.

Much to my annoyance, I bought the iPhone version instead of the iPad, is there any difference? I noticed they are the same size...

[QUOTE="Texas2089"]FFX is my all time favorite OST. I still randomly get songs from the game stuck in my head, even though it's been about 2 1/2 years since I've played it :P To Zanarkand is my single favorite video game song and both that and Suteki Da Ne still give me a twinge of emotion to this day. Otherworld was such a badass opening too. I loved a lot of the overworld music too like Besaid Island, Scenery of Spira, and People of the North Pole. Ok I'll stop now. Some of my other favorite OSTs would be FFVII, Persona 3 and 4, Kingdom Hearts, TWEWY, BlazBlue CT and CS, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and MGS3.

As soon as I read the thread title I put on To Zanarkand and then I read your post. Beautiful track.

I found MediaMonkey to be a superb program when converting one format to another.

And who's to judge what's good or bad for someone else? For me TS was a nice break between serious games.

It is not quite about judging for someone else. there are games that are unanimously bad and others that are love or hate. I have played bad games that were enjoyable for one reason or another but it does not change the fact that they were bad.

[QUOTE="nightshade869"] There is a difference between trophies for good games and bad games. Trophies do add replay value and do get you to try things that may have not without the incentive. I enjoy going after trophies in games I enjoy such as Uncharted, Batman, GOW, AC2, and Heavy Rain. I think it is good that developers put them in. Now playing a horrible game just for a trophy is stupid. Trophies are secondary to a great game. You need to have a game be good enough to warrant playing on its own, and then the trophies add replay value.

I am with you on this one. There were games which I really enjoyed regardless of the trophies. Yes they do add replay value and from that perspective they are great. I generally look at trophies as a measure of how much of the game I have explored.

[QUOTE="Emerald_Warrior"] -Futurecop: LAPD for PS1 is a fun game where you just blow-up everything in site.

I remember this one, it was quite cool! Hasn't it been released on PSN recently or something?

I never undersood the fascination with trophies/achievments. Do I really want to play through a terrible game so I can get an arbitrary icon/number? I used to think the fun was in the games themselves.

just ask Microsoft to put back all the interesting things they ripped so that the game could be done for X360, then maybe we'll get a good game

TheTenth10
Enough with the ignorance. Maybe we should just stop being mindless fanboys and accept the game as it is. The reason they couldn't do more with the game is development costs. Frankly the established base on the PS3 at the time was shaky so it made good business sense for them to develop on the Xbox.
