Because it's not like Sony introduce several new IPs this year - some of which are FAR more unique than anything Nintendo has made this past generation. Anways, if you DID bother to play the beta, you'd see that the similarities to Smash are pretty superficial. It's like claiming that Atlus is unoriginal because SMT was inspired by the success of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. They took the idea and put their own spin on it.

I've played every game on that list except for KH3D.

And it's Gravity Rush by a mile. I even posted a review that ripped apart Carolyn's (seriously, she did a horrible job) but it was taken down. Something about insulting other people or something.

Personally, I'd rate it a little lower than a 9. What you can do in the level editor is limited if you want to make something great.

FYI, my copy arrived today in the mail. 3 hours in and I can wholeheartedly say this is WAY better than a 6.5. Gameplay is prob AA, story is A, and visuals / presentation is definitely AAA, if not higher.tarzanell

I beat the game.

Gameplay is AAA. Nothing feels better than using the mechanics to traverse/explore. Combat is fun when you use more than one attack especially if you use that attack poorly like GS.

Story is AA. It would be AAA but not everything is explained or explained in length.

Music is AAA too.

Honestly, I don't think any 3DS game I played so far has the right to be called AAA.

3D Land is fun but its not platforming bliss.

Uprising annoys me. It just doesn't know when to end.

And Revelations is a good game but the story is lackluster and it failed to scare me.

You don't get it.

The "flaws" in the Gravity Rush review, aren't flaws. They're the consequences of the reviewer playing the game poorly.

I can see more flaws in the game than any reviewer has ever mentioned. But the ones they did bring up, however, aren't flaws.

Surprised at the underrated score but it's just the reviewers opinion. My opinion is different on the game. Shame for those who play the System Wars metagame though.FlamesOfGrey
