@bryanhudd @Bowser05 It does not play better, is just easier due the better loot and low dificult and less monster on screen. The loot part will be enhanced for pc with loot 2.0

@pspearman Because the steam box still can act as a pc, you can do pc stuff on it if you want. So this makes it more compelling than a ps4. They may get a ps4 like specs for 500 to 600 dollars, but the whole package of tha box will add more features and freedom.

@KillzoneSnake any 2006 pcs that were sold at 1200 can run gta 5 better than console that's for sure. Ps3 were sold at 600 dollars and at loss. Pc nobody sells at loss. What you really need to think is a 700 dollars custom build pc is more powerfull than the 500 dollar xbone. And guess what? the pc does not only game, but home work, school work, work, etc... go figure.

@cheamo Every game engine has both direct x and open gl support. PS4, wii u all use open gl variants.

@forbiddenmow @saucex4 I don't thnk this OS is for computers, or meant for computers that are used for more than gaming. This is meant to steam box or whatever the name is. Basically all engines have open gl support, specially because wii u and ps4 use it. so to port games to steam OS can be done easily. Buyt as a open OS a lot of people can create contant to run in it, better media players, or maybe media players taht accept any video format. sotfware for chat, voice chat, messaging etc. So as a console standpoint it will have a lot of advantages over ps4 and xbox1, with all of those contents, being free and easy to access.
