I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this band, My Chemical Romance, god they are overrated AND they suck, but oh well. On that note, The Killers suck to, and many modern bands that are called The "fill-in the blank with a dumb name" and many new metalcore bands (though I would have to say many of the fans suck, not the actual bands themselves).

Dark Tranquility and Amon Amarth for us metalheads, but they're not that bad, but still, WAY to overrated.

Burzum and Darkthrone, although they are my personal favorites, some people say they "single handedly" inspired many, if not all black metal bands, and well, what about Bathory and Venom, oh well
