Well I went to another forum and asked. I even copied and pasted my SAME question on here. I was told the game had customization, which is true. HOWEVER... FOR SOME REASON... you cant use the D-Pad. (they kinda left that part out SMH) Learn from me and find out from several people before you open a 60 dollar game you could have waited for...
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one... I've gotten used to using the analog stick more, especially after playing GTA4, but it would be nice to have custom controls back. Yea the deadzone is annoying but I've gotten used to it being in games. I guess eventually I'ma have to move to a wheel to get faster.
Pretty simple... WILL THIS GAME HAVE IT? I'm a huge racing fan, but what makes or breaks the game to me is custom controls! NFS was awesome up to Pro Street when they started to get away from it. If Gran Turismo, Dirt, Grid, and countless other games can implement it (every time!), then I don't see why EA cant always include it. I'm glad Criterion added it in HP 2010, but EA dropped the ball in The Run. It's so infuriating... I'm old school (Rad Racer old school) and I need a D-Pad to steer and the x button to accelerate. So does anyone know?
