how is this game better than tomb raider?

I don't think a 6 is a fair score. The loot box fiasco was ridiculous and the single player is super short but the multiplayer is really fun. I don't understand how you guys rate little indie games so high because they're "fun" (which is fine) but rate a game that a company has poured so much time and resources into so low.

I understand that ea are money hungry to a certain degree but the base multiplayer game that dice has made is a lot of fun.

Give it more credit.

If you're buying games digitally on consoles then you really aren't thinking things through. Having the game physically is definitely better because you can resell it. I tend to buy most of my games used, beat them and then sell them back to someone for the same price. Ultimately playing games for free. Obviously companies like EA don't want people doing that lol.

@Stevo_the_gamer I'm surprised. I couldn't put this game down once I started. One of those types of games that are so good, you spend days playing right until the end!

I'm still gonna play it. Just for the jokes.

I was debating this myself and I went with tomb raider. I'm actually a huge GOW fan, I just recently played through the whole saga again and then I tried the ascension demo. I realized that the game is pretty much the exact same thing in all 6 games. Awesome story and epic fights but it's still the same combat.

At least TR is a reboot. It's way different than the older tomb raider games. It's a little too much like uncharted but it's definitely unique enough that it can hold it's own. You actually give a s--t about lara and the game is pretty emotional. You should get it!

I went to wal-mart and asked the guy if he could open the cabinet and get me Ni Nu Kuni. He's like, "Ni Noo Kooni? Never heard of it." He must have said that 2 or 3 times. Then when he got it for me and realized that it was the last copy, therefore, sold out, he must have felt stupid.

Just like to point out that almost every other country is also exposed to the exact same violence in the media (I don't live in the U.S.) but the states have waaaaaaayyyyyy more homicides than anywhere else. There's a fundamental problem with gun laws in the U.S.

You can't blame it on a mental health problem either because I don't think the states have any more problems with that as any other country. My brother has aspergers (sorry if it's spelled wrong) and I can totally understand how someone with that disorder can do some of the horrible things that people with aspergers/autism have done just because of how anti social they can be.

@Doomrul I hate the game too but having another big budget fantasy movie come out is still exciting.

@DragonRift I remember having the discussion about the announcement of the movie when my guild was in BWL so I think they made the announcement earlier than that.
