I'm having this really irritating problem when trying to connect my laptop to my TV.

My laptop is a M11x Alienware Laptop with Windows 7

My TV is a Samsung HDTV

Every saturday morning I play minecraft with my family in the living room. I play on my laptop and connect it to the TV using a HDMI cable, then go, connect to a projector > duplicate screen so they can see what i'm doing through the TV and I can see it on my laptop.

The problem is that duplicate is no longer working - I can only extend the screen.

I've had this problem on and off for a while. I've done things that have worked and solved my problem but then I come back the next week and the problem has reoccured and the previous solution no longer worked.

For example:

one week I updated my drivers and it worked. The week after it broke again and an update was not available.

one week I simply plugged the HDMI lead into a different HDMI socket on my TV and it worked - same again, next week the problem reoccured.

Also as a weird side-note, duplicate works fine on my dad's laptop, and on my other Toshiba laptop. So the problem does seem to be with my laptop. It's just weird how the problem comes back when I haven't changed anything.

Right now nothing will work and I can't get it to fix again. If anyone can help with this i'd be extremely grateful. Thank you.

Only thing I would say is the first one ends a bit ebruptly. I like how on the official Skyrim trailers it cuts to black, the music slows down and slowly fades. Needs something like that. 

Is useless.

1. Camera angles make it awkward to hit anything

2. Creatures often stay on the opposite side of your sword hand which makes it impossible to hit

3. When using ranged weapons, the arrow rarely lands where the crossheir is aiming.

4. You still have to get off your horse anyway to pick up the loot.

5. All in all, a massive mess that is so clunky, I have no idea how they thought it was anywhere near good enough to put in the game.

Thoughts?

Yeah it did for me too. I play the PC version too, I try to avoid mods tbh because for me they cause a lot of issues (freezing etc) so i've really enjoyed building my new house. Since then I've also comleted a crap load more quests (ones that i couldn't be bothered to do because i've done them all so many times before) and found some new ones too!

I really dislike JRPGs and anime.

I really enjoy both Saw games.

I thought Bad Company 2's multiplayer was the worst I'd played for a well-received game.

Far Cry 2 was not boring at all despite some repitition, and the open world is underappreciated for it's achievement by many.

Aight. I think Demon's Souls and Dark Souls to be extremely disgusting with some of the worst artstyles I have ever witnessed.

I think Final Fantasy XIII was great and very fun. Story could've been better, but gameplay was addictive.

And since you brought in an Xbox game, I'd say the Fable series kept getting better.

Hey there, just thought i'd open up a topic about this to see what your most controversial opinions are on certain games as I realised I have quite a few.

So i'll start.

I think all Zelda games (including Ocarina of time) are extremely dull.

I think Metal Gear Solid games are good but really overrated.

I think Halo is awful

I know although a lot of people liked Elder Scrolls Oblivion, they thought the main quest was boring. I absolutely loved it.

I think Street Fighter sucks

I find most MMO's such as World of Warcraft etc, really complicated and I get really overwhelmed whenever I try to play.

and last my most controversial, well, more of a confession than opinion... I love... Runescape THERE I SAID IT!

Ok I'm getting confused with this now as there are so many conflicting answers across the internet. So if you have a definitive answer can you post the source please.

Will Minecraft xbox edition have ONLINE MULTIPLAYER on RELEASE DAY? Not 4 player splitscreen but actual online multiplayer than you can play with the people on your friends list with?
