It depends on how paced you like your shooters. I like the Halo pace better and story. (Does unreal have a story?)_KenKittyragi_

Does the story matter? No

[QUOTE="swamprat_basic"]It's innovative in that it made melee and grenades an integral part of every single battle. The shield system was unique too.swamprat_basic

I can name a game that also did that Metal Arms.

You mean a game that was released 2 years after Halo?

Sorry that was a bad example the Battlfeild series I've killed plenty of people in that game with melee and grenades

You mean a series whose first game launched 1 year after Halo?

It wasn't a year it was a couple months meaning they were both in development at the same time. Are you saying that the battle field series is as original as Halo

10 months might not quite be 1 year, but it is certainly more than a couple months.

So did Battlefield copy Halo or did it do something innovative?

[QUOTE="Timesplitter14"]Meh I dunno but I really think people are exagerating when they say that Halo's gameplay reaches total perfection (and they put it in italic to show you they really mean it.). I mean... according to them, Halo looks like some kind of materialization of pure joy and refinement or something. It not that great. The gameplay won't send you flying through your window with a shockwave of perfection like some people are trying to tell you. It's better than your average CoD-like FPS but nothing really THAT special.Bansheesdie

Halo's gameplay is great, some of the bestFPS gameplayreally. Thats not just me talking either, its the millions of gamers and the hundreds of reviwers as well.

could explain precisley whats so great about it?

I like angry discussions in SW... it's more fun. They can last hours

well I think this discussion is over Halo wasn't innovative and everyone is fine with that
