Who would think that we would still be playing Tomb Raider, Starcraft, Diablo, Counter-Strike on 2013 :) Future assumed to be so much different at the end of 90s but We're playing the same game tittles over and over.
Just make a prite game, don't ruin the franchaise! AC III changed the story too much into a sensless point. Anyway, I hope this one deosn't have more cutscenes than it's gameplay and too much complicated game elements which doesn't combine or work alone. After AC: Revelations they've lost all the main concept.
By the way I'm on chapter Red Star Rising (5 of 7) but I haven't seen any boss fights. When do we see a boss fight? Btw I hacked a Pinger on previous chapter but I thought I'd be controlling it just like in the multiplayer, instead it kept shooting around and destroyed all the enemies for me! wtf?!
Crytek, please release a patch and get rid of this hacking turrets thing and if I hack a pinger let me control it during the campaign! It's way too easy and not fun!
I haven't finished the game but so far I can truly say that with this gameplay and graphics, if this game would be a open world shooter with a better AI it would be EPIC! I thought Crysis 3 would be an open world game when they said it will be a "sandbox" shooter with side missons and progressing skill trees. However, I found myself shooting in large enclosed spaces with vegetation. Tagging the enemies with visor and one shot kill with the bow during stealth makes the game too easy. Especially when unresponsive AI is added to these facts, you feel like playing in God Mode. Ok, it's challenging when you have outnumbered of enemies and AI is better than the previous game but when you shoot a cell troop with a bow the soldier next to him just keeps walking through you, not responsing or getting into a cover. Multiplayer is good fun except some cheaters and too mixed level of players. I mean I can't compete with a level 50 guy or for him I'll be fooling around or not contrubuting to the team. In brief, shooting, enviorment, people look and feels great. I just wish to have more challenging AI combat and an open world game with freedom
Well, this gameplay video tells much more than the previous ones. I like the new mechanics such as new suit customization, bow and arrow tips, weapon add-ons.. The graphics look way better on this video but I've played the beta and it's not similar to this one. The open world and gameplay looks fantastic by the way. I hope we can have a map option like Farcry 3 which is showing the whole sandbox area. And please stop comparing it to Crysis 1, it's a brand new game now :)
The crash site mode is cool. It runs fluently and fun to play through 10 mins or score until 200 pts. But it's really difficult to kill each other especially when everybody's cloaked :) You need to be more stretagic instead of being hardcore. Plus great use of cepth technologies and wepons or any items around the envioroment.
The hunter mode: It's really cool to have a bow and great feeling of using it. But THE 2 MINUS OF HUNTING TIME IS TOO SHORT. Especially against 14 cell troops. When you get killed as a cell troop you spawn as a hunter and try to hunt the remaining cells because every cell dies converts to a hunter. But when you get killed just a small time before the clock runs over, it doesn't feel good. The match finishes before you undersand what's going on.
