if you were american that might make a difference... but if you were from switzerland you would totally get where i'm coming from.  the government has all of their citizens armed as military service is mandatory.  they get to keep their service rifles... which yes are assault rifles.  it's mandated to have a certain amount of ammo and training per year.  Switzerland has never been invaded.  ever.  all through out history.  the u.s. has been invaded by england. mexico and bombed by the japanese.

also study history... not history from your teachers in school, history from books.  learn about not gun control but weapon control in general.  slaves were'nt allowed to have weapons in ancient rome all the way to 1200's scotland... gun control is what started this great nation of the united states... it was the british coming door to door to take the guns and the patriots saying NO!! 1776.  Also hitler and gun control.  he said if you want a gun join the SS, military, police... he said you are of no use to the state having a gun.  It's about resistance.  and you can't resist if you don't have a means to resist.

george orwell used to work in the uk state department and when he wrote 1984 that was what they had planned.  i mean the u.s. has it's flaws and that freedom has risks.  always.  if we made alcohol illegal and smoking illegal, there will be less lung cancer and heart disease, less alcoholism and less drunk car accidents.  people will still try to get it even if it is illegal.  but that's a persons freedom and right to smoke or drink.  yes it's bad but as adults we can make our own decisions.  not let goverment goons make up our minds for us..  do they all want us to just live in padded cells so we wont hurt each other?

the corrupt elite in my country of the usa are really freaking out right now.  even after a tragedy in CT, who was carried out by a madman satanist.... people are rushing to buy guns right now.  i went to my local gun shop and it was standing room only...we are not giving up our freedom and security!!! i'm not related to beyonce or jamie foxx where i can have armed guards surround me at all times.  im an average joe and i got to watch my own ass.  obama sends his kids to a school with a dozen armed guards on top of secret service... so obamas children are good enough to be well protected but not us mere peasents right?

Also our US government has done things to make us weary to trust them.  Our government is taking steps against the people not the other way around.  They are signing in laws like the NDAA and shipping guns into mexico to fund the allied drug cartels.  (fast and furious)  What countries has new zealand invaded over false pretenses??  remember WMDs??  That was a lie. So was the bin laden raid.  Our government at the top... i'm talking about state governors, senators and presidents.  Are incredibly corrupt.  There is just way to much evidence to overlook.  Sure there are some good people like ron paul and walter jones but they are getting fewer and fewer as time goes on.  I mean seriously do you think even your politicians are honest saints? No they are not.  They have a lust for money and power like most people have.

I don't believe in things I can't prove and i'm guessing you're a teen or young adult.  I'm 28 now and when i was 17-21 I had a really naive outlook of the world.. I believed everything government told me almost.  WMDs I just thought that was an intelligence lapse or they found the wmds... then with september 11th attacks on the trade center.  for the longest time i thought the twin towers were the only towers that fell... then i heard about building 7,  i was like "what the hell is a building 7"  building 7 collapsed on its own foot print after just a couple of fires... it wasn't hit by a plane.  i figured well if the fires got hot enough it could melt the support beams and it collapsing like a controlled demolition was strictly coincidental.   I BELIEVED THIS!! then i started doing some digging.  some research on physics and architecture/engineering.  I found out that the fire only burns at a certain degree and the steel only responds to certain temperature before it weakens.  anyway.  I've been enlightened.  I hope that you too have a thirst for the truth and knowledge.  Because frankly it does sound crazy.  then you find out its true.  red pill or blue pill?

there are over 200 million guns in the united states.  with that number you would think it would be utter chaos here.  it's not.  the 2nd amendment is very important because it's the last form of defense against tyranny.  Australia and the UK are police states.  cctvs on every corner.  no 1st amendment.  if you say anything bad about the arab muslims taking over london you can face jail time.  my uk friend lives here in los angeles and here we have a lot of mexicans and latino immigrants that come in.  but these are people who work and usually don't cause trouble.  this land was theres at one point and the mexican border is only 3 hours away by car.  so it's natural.  they speak spanish which is very close to english, uses the same alphabet.. and for the mosts part they have the same religion as most americans (christian) so there isn't much of an issue with them.  In the UK you have arab muslims who have no history in the uk.  they hate the uk in fact.  they want to transform the uk into something it's not.  no respect for your culture.  they want buckingham palace to be a mosque.  (i kid you not) and it's such a culture clash the native brit is afraid to walk on their own streets in their neighborhoods that look something reminicscent of instanbul.  It's an utter disaster.

In Australia they have introduced carbon taxes that have killed small businesses and if you talk bad about them like once again, no first amendment. lol.. what do you think protects the first amendment and us from corrupt government?  the 2nd amendment!!! without a right to defend ourself and a means to take back our country we would fall into a nightmare tyranny.  much like the british crown didn't allow the scottish to have arms back in 1290's... and this was back when they just had sticks.

I'd rather face the threat of some psycho than lose my liberties.  because as a history major i know where it leads.  nightmare tyranny every time.  so to all of you who live in the uk and australia thinking you live in a utopia you're full of sh*t.

i was so naive like you back when i was 17-19....then after i got out of the navy i found out the truth.  take a look at architects and engineers for 9/11 truth.  we aren't the good guys. we are a divided nation.  we are half good.  half bad... most of us are the good guys. our leadership are the bad guys... like i was telling my friend.  one bad apple in a local police department can only do so much damage.  but one corrupt atf or dea agent.  they can do things you would only think are only possible in movies like scarface.

the u.s. funds al qaida. openly. giving them weapons in syria.  the u.s. was arguably behind 9/11, oklahoma city, etc.   here is a more recent story.  the us government running guns into mexico and shipping drugs back. fast and furious.  a gun running scandal to blame the 2nd amendment.  (they don't want law abiding citizens to have guns, they are a threat to their power)  as someone who has served in the military and was extremely naive to think we were the good guys...im a sickened by how far we have fallen.  i guess it's because we used to be the good guys early on in history... during ww2 with liberating europe etc... but since the jfk assassination, the last real president who stood up for civil rights... we only have had a bunch of puppets controlled by banking oligarchs and corporations.  the shareholders of the federal reserve bank.  the only video game that had the balls to bring this up was the original deus ex and a little bit in the sequel.  (they kinda watered it down)

So I ask of the gaming community... Will we ever see a game depicting the usa as the bad guys??  im not saying russia, iran and china are any better.  they aren't.  they're worse.  we still have the ghost of the constitution to abide by. the constitution is my government.  i took an oath and still abide by it today.  any politician that undermines the constitution is an enemy to the state.  yes im talking about you obama you NDAA signing bastard... you too bush with the patriot act.

I liked it... not to spoil... don't read anymore... but i wish there was a bigger angle between lee, haytham and connor.  Like if Haytham started to trust his son and Lee kills Haytham thinking he's turning on the Templers...That would have made the vengeance taken on Lee that much better.   Also they painted Washington as a douche.  Washington should have ordered Lees hanging at once but Lee somehow escapes due to his high influence.  Lee ends up taking on a new idenity working for the redcoats or something. it was too predictable.  I thought there was going to be a struggle between Lee, Haytham and Connor.  I thought Haytham would have gotten upset at Lee for burning down the indian village killing connors mother and haythams woman.  Like a wedge between them.  haytham in the middle.  connor on the assassins side and Lee on the templars side...
