Can anyone help out? I've finished Ballad Of Gay Tony with no problems at all, but on Lost and Damned, the game just STOPS. Its the very first mission "Clean and Serene" and when we go to the scrapyard (I think) To talk to some guy about the boss's bike, the game just go's to the loading screen, the words "...Clean And Serere" Flickering in the corner. And it never goes away. It also aperantly freezes the comp, because no matter WHAT I press, I cant minimize or shut down the game, so I have to restart the computer. And it NEVER goes away, I've tried like 20 times, and without fail, this problem rears its ugly head.

The Benchmark for the Video card is slightly lower than what the Nvidia site says it should be, as for the advanced Nvidia control panel stuff, I really dont understand half of it.

This problem is persisting for quite the while. To get right to the point, I just see textures popping up RIGHT infront of my face. Like say in Resindent Evil 5, there's just this border around everything in the distance, and if Im walking down say the very first level of the game, I can see textures popping in, and the 'outline' of where the textures are still 'non existant'.

Or in Assassins Creed 2, On a wall theres a shadow from a fancy scafolding or whatever it is, from a distance it just seems solid and all choppy. But if I come closer, it becomes all smooth and detailed. It is VERY distracting, and honestly becoming a pain in the rear end.

In ALL the newer games the draw distance is simply HORRENDIOUS. Textures popping all around! The only games that dont seem to be affected are strategy games. Because even VICE CITY has texture popping.

I've seen other topics concerning something like this, but no fixes have I found, Can anyone help?

I'm using a Nvidia 250GTS, before that I had a Nvidia 8800GTX, same problem.

I'm not exactly a big batman fan, was born at the end of 1992 so I wasn't exactly reading a lot of the comics, I only ever saw a few of 'New' animated series episodes. So I don't really know if this is a reference to anything, but its been bugging me.

Just who the HELL is that guy? He walks backand forth grunting, and doesnt do anything other than that.

Whenever I use the mezz gun on someone, I dont even have to collar them, I just mezz them. After that the game works fine...but when I try to save the game or use the pip-boy, the game crashes. I so much as just tap the escape button or the tab button to bring up ether the menu or the pip-boy, and BOOM. Game Crashes, 100% all the time without fail.
something about a dbgeng.dll file, I tried downloading it seperetly and putting it in system32, doesnt work, tried reinstalling the game, didn't help.
What so I need to do?

Now, before anyone says anything, yes, my comp meets the RECOMENDED requierments

Recomended:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ or better
RAM: 3GB
Video Card: 512 MB Card
Sound Card: 5.1 Sound Card
HDD Space: 12GB
DirectX Version: DirectX 10.0

And I've got:

Processor:Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8200 @ 2.66GHz (2CPUs)

RAM: 4GB
Video Card: GeForce 8800GT 512.0MB
Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio Output
HDD Space: 12GB (Actualy got 350GB but eh)
DirectX Version: DirectX 10.0

So, as I can see all the requierments are met, but still the game lags like horrible, and I got shadows and Vsync off, and everything at Medium, and it still lags, what the hell??
