If you go to your account management and look at your subscription you should see the renewal details to confirm that is has worked. You'll probably get loads of receipts from MS as well.
Signed up for this last night. Still no word on how to get the helmet. It may be worth noting that when I did it I got a error message twice while doing the transaction but this morning had three receipts in my email. I rang support to check I wasn't going to get billed 3 times and they just said they had some problems with the system last night but they said I would only be billed once.
I decided to upgrade my old xbox a few weeks ago to the S. Having a larger hard drive and the fact that is so quite when running made it worth the ££.
I tried the multiplayer for the first time this week and it seems a bit poor. I got put in to a free roam session with a few people but their didn't seem a lot to do. When ever I used the menu to select a game type it just loaded for while and then failed to connect. The single player is amazing though.
I think the reviews were ok. The biggest thing from GS's point of view was that it was very similar to number 1 and I can see where they are coming from. A game should be reviewed on its own merits but when you stick a number 2 in a games title people will always compare it the previous one. I'd give crackdown a 6/7.
I just read an article about a Milo demo Peter Molyneux did at the Technology, Entertainment and Design Global conference in Oxford. I've but a link below but he talks about Milo's mind being in the cloud so that he get smarter over time. He also mentions that Microsoft has no plans to release the Milo technology at the moment but Lion-head are developing as if it were a commercial product. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10623423
