Once upon a time there was a little girl who screamed out in fear from the raccoon who just ate her sister Lorian. Lorian was at risk of being petrified, but fortunately she remembered to bring a ring with stoneward. However, her wounds were too deep. So she couldn't cure the status disorder that was rapidly spreading all over her body. So then she went to an item shop. She bought soft. Luckily, she was just in time to heal the petrification.

Lorian's sister, Ashe, was a somewhat mysterious heroine because she was the only one who could see ghosts, speak to all beings, and summon horrendously powerful creatures. This ability frightened everone in her village, and caused her to be an outcast, friend only to ghosts and chocobo's.

Every day she went to the mountains and summoned. Her summons were like her friends and supported her through times of loneliness, especially when she felt like her soul was weakened from all

Where did this all come from?!?!?!?
The ps3 is easily powerful enough to run ffVII, voice overs wouldn't take up that much room , and even at that they could always spill onto another disk.
I also think that they will make yuffie and Vincent a part of the main storyline in the remake; with advent children making them proper cast members and Vincent staring in his own game i think that they would write them in.

As ive stated many times, i dont think you ever defeated Sephiroth in FFVII, how do we know it wasnt him manipulating jenova to take the for of him, as long as there are jenova's cells in the world, Sepihroth can come back whenever he so wishes, the ending for ffVII just showed that his plans where delayed, but not stopped.

Also since Sephiroth can project himself to wherever he wishes i dont think he can make himself physical, thusly he would have to use the clones in order to interact with the world.

So I went to Nibelheim and I went to Tifa's house and played the tune on the piano that is supposed to get you her Level 4 Limit Break. But every time I play the tune, it says, 'I reconise that melody' or something like that :? Occasionally I get 1 gil out of 'Tifa's Secret Savings'. Why aren't I getting the Limit Break?! Do I need to come back later or something, I'm only at my first visit to Nibelheim. I have Tifa in my party.

I looked in the strategy guide i have, this is what it says:

Return to Nielheim in disc 3 with tifa in your party and play 'do-re-mi-ti-la, do re mi so fa do re do'.She'll find it in some sheet music on the piano.

hope this helps

Okay, this is what I think Square-Enix should do.

I don't like the idea of making the FF series real time. It's not that I don't hate real time, it's just that I don't want to see FF wander too far from its roots and what made it the series it is today.

What they should do instead of making these crappy sequels like Brave Samurai Mushashi or whatever the hell its called, they should make a brand new RPG series that features real time play. That way, you keep the FF fans happy and those that love real time RPG fans happy.

Everybody wins!

Very true, if they created a new game with real-time at its heart then you would have no expectations for it. But in a way, i felt that something about final fantasy had to change, i like the idea of seeing the enemys before the you fight them ( i find mysle throwing a mild fit evertime i get to the end of a screen and battle decides to appear).

If they pull it off correctly, this may be closer to the true final fantasy style than we think (with the exception of letting the computer take control of the characters you aren't playing with). Perhaps they will gauge the future of the final fantasy series based on how the fans take XII

Think of it this way, the first ten where close to the same formula of play, but for the next ten they are still finding their bearings.

I wonder what FF VII would be like in real time. If they went down the same lines as XII and Dierge of cerberus (spelling?!)

[QUOTE="XIIAxelCrossIIX"] [QUOTE="marks_minime"] [QUOTE="XIIAxelCrossIIX"] [QUOTE="marks_minime"]Im of the same mind, im not sure about the whole real time thing, but ill wait and see what its like. if its anything like vagrant story then we got a winner.

Heh, funny you say that, Marks. The creator and director of Vagrant Story is working big time on XII. Now, I don't remember exactly what his position is, but it's a higher up position. I'm not saying what I think it is, because that could start some controversy if I'm wrong. But go to a well trusted XII information site and it will most likely have it there. But I do know for a fact that he is working hard on it.

Nice, i really liked that game, the battle system worked well ( a bit complex to start with but when you figured it out,the game was great). Does the battle system play anything like that?

Excellent! I always like the battle system, but i felt there was a bit lacking, ( the sphere for one, it was a bit hard to always know if you where close enough) hopfully they have addressed and evolved these ideas. im quite pleased to hear that the system is tried and tested. i wouldnt have too much confidence in a battle system made entirely from scratch, but if it takes cues from V.S then i have an idea of what to expect.

Cheers you've been very helpfull , there isnt alot of info around that answered the questions that i wanted answered, but youve guven me an insight into what to expect.
