Hypocrisy of the fanbases Definitive Edition!

Well the title says it all this time I will be talking about all the hypocrisy in the big 3 fanbases. yes not even the nintendo side safe though I will save them for last because my complaint with them is a big one. Now onto the rant to start things off let's go for a two for one the microsoft and sony fanboy's for starters they always seem to brag about all the supposed next gen games they have when really the vast majority of these games are remasters. Now I know nintendo does remakes the difference is that with Nintendo remake those games are at least a little over ten years old it's kind of difficult if not expensive to get an original copy of Majoras mask for N64 compared to getting The Last of Us for PS3. I mean honestly most of the games on those supposed next gen consoles are remakes of games that came out two years ago that are still readily available for past consoles. Yet when nintendo does it it's a problem all of a sudden even though the games in question came out ten years ago. Now it's the nintendo fan bases turn. Listen I know nintendo needs to make a new IP but it doesn't help when they do make a new IP everyone in the fanbase dismisses it. Look at codename STEAM it looks interesting but it's immediately dismissed and the same old question" Wheres F-Zero?". Look we all like to think that nintendo thinks of their fans but at the end of the day they are a business. With that in mind they have to make what sells and last I checked everyone decided to pirate the last few F-Zero games rather than buy them so you really can't blame them for being rather hesitant on releasing a new one. I mean who knows maybe if the virtual console re releases on Wii u get good enough sales then maybe we will see a new F-Zero but until then it's just not in the cards right now till next time.

Game Rant: Old Hedgehog, same old tricks

Hello again tonight I feel like ranting a bit, The target this time? Sega and their usual two steps forward one humongous leap backwards.

Now don't worry I'm not one of those sonic fanboys who for some reason live in the past and bemoan everything and anything sega does to make sonic relevant. For what seemed to be a long time after SA2 (or SA2 Battle) it looked like Sega had no Idea what to do with Sonic. trying new concepts left and right to see what could stick. Then one year was the year everyone was assured sega was out of their collective minds, 2006 now 2006 wasn't a particularly bad year but it resulted in the one game in the sonic series that needs no introduction, for those who don't know however it's commonly known as Sonic 06 this game was so bug ridden, glitchy, and down right polarizing. I mean sure they say it was rushed to market for the then newly released PS3, though I still feel they could have easily asked for more time to Iron out the bugs (and hopefully write a better story.) Needless to say the damage was already done and from there we would see everything from magical storybooks to werehogs, and then finally it seemed like they have finally got their act together. with Sonic colors the otherwise excellent sonic generations, and finally sonic lost world while not great, in my opinion it was still a step in the right direction. Now it was easy to assume both sonic boom games were gonna be good. though for some god forsaken reason sonic team wasn't working on these it was some new indie studios , to make matters worse they both had underwhelming showings at e3 last year. I have no idea how they did it but they some how managed to Boom much worse than 06 it seemed like sega forgot everything. It's downright frustrating I mean nintendo is treating sonic better than they have in the past. To add insult to injury Sega recently announced it was going to focus on pc and mobile. You know what Sega I wish you a lot of luck but one of these days you'll wake up and smell the coffee only to realise it's too late

Thank you and see you nex time

The Rough: Paper Mario Sticker Star

Hello this is a new series of blogs that I would like to call the rough. A series in which I talk about underratted games that get more hate then what they deserve though some are legitamatley bad. So for starters we have Paper Mario Sticker Star. PMSS is soley disliked for being vastly different from Thousand year door, How different? well the lack of partners, level up system, every attack requiring a consumable sticker, and the lack of a real story. While those are valid points to be apprehensive about this wasn't the first game to try this. People often forget Kingdom Hearts chain of Memories had a similar attack system having every action requiring It's respective card, and to add another similarity Donald And goofy while present were nowhere to be found unless summoned by a card and that,s where the similarity's end I mean the closest thing Paper Mario has to summons are the thing stickers. another thing people seem to dislike about this game is the lack of original characters and the fact every character is a toad. I can adress this to being a first for the series being on a handheld. In conclusion this game isn't good but it isn't bad either I know this review was short but I'm kinda on the clock so till next time.

I,M Baaaack!

Man it's good to be back after a long hiatus though I know some people thought I was dead well I'm not dead I'm alive and well. now I know you all have a few questions Like:

1. what happened?: well I was just going through some personal issues like school and of course the occasional family distress but other then that nothing much

2. Is this even really you?: well yes... next question

3. will there be more rants, reviews, and countdowns?: Yes and no I feel like I should try some new material after all I want to try my hand at becoming a writer so I will try some new thing, though I will still do countdowns and reviews rant's might become something new entirely

4. So that's it?: Yeah pretty much..

so in conclusion I am back and will be posting stuff on GameSpot just starting tomarrow afternoon so see you then

top 10 videogame bosse #1 Master Hand and Crazy Hand

Now I know by the title you guys were expecting 2 to be number one however these two are at the top of the list for their surprise factor. first master hand first appeared in the first smash bros. his attacks are basicly everything a normal hand can do slap, punch, slam with a few ecentric move like using his index fingers as a gun or shooting lasers from his finger tips (in Melee and onwards).Crazy hand on the other hand first appeard in melee and unlike master hand his attack pattern is more erratic this dosen't necessarily make him more difficult per say but he can be unpridictable( Probably how he got the name). fighting these guys apart is easy however it is when they are together things get rough, you always have to keep their individual attack's and some of there moves that they have when they re seperate change to a combination like a slap turns into a devastating clap, the strategy for these two kind of varies depending on the character so here they I think someone lost their gloves master hand and crazy hand.

Top 10 Boss batlles #2 Sephiroth

Yes the one the only Sephiroth one of the most Iconic bosses in Final Fantasy. Sephiroth was once hailed as a veteran soilder in Shinra's military divison however after going on a private mission and learning that he was a science experiment involving the extrateresstial being known only as Jenova a being that tried to take over the planet he sees this has his destiny and tries to follow in her foot steps. No wyou fight seprioth several deifferent times in the game but for this list we are focusing on the final sephiroth battle.

Now I haven't played 7 in a while nor do I have the game anymore it was lost in my move to NC so I have a very foggy recollection of the battle so I am sorry if I get some details wrong.

Now th battle starts of ussualy by seprioth attacking you and then cloud knowing counter counters with omnislash which (which one I don't remember-_-:) and this ussaly does enough damage to take him out in hit it is still a visual appealing attack. the boss fight however even though sephiroth is a badass this fight was underwhelming now before you all get sephiroth to impale me from my house and back whith his long blade keep in mind this is just this boss fight the others were awesome It's just dissappointing for a character as cool as he is to have a final fight that is just so underwhelming that you can't beleive it was real but Sephiroth's badassery was enough to put him in the number 2 slot so here he is the former hero sepiroth

Top 10 boss fightes #3 Emporer bulblax

Have you ever played the first pikmi to the end well then you should be familiar with this boss fight emporer bulblax is the hardest thig to fight in the game eve harder then the beady longlegs. this fight can get itense his attacks are devastating to your pikmin squad to say the least he always tries to lick up yor pikmin with his long tounge, then when his health is a quarter of the way down he will proceed to try to crush your pikmin. after all is said then done you get the secret safe a optional part that allows you to see the perfect ending after getting all 30 ship parts. now the down side to this battle is it's predictability I mean pikmin can be a frustrating game but most enimies tell you when they are about to attack. An Bulblax is no exception heck he even got down graded to enimie status in the second game. but what else is there to say he was difficult in the first game and this fight was a personal favorite so he it is the gluttonus bulblax

Street fighter 4 rant

I know I have a top 10 list of bosses to finish but I am putting it on hold for this. I think capcom still think it is the 1990s why I say this is because of Ultra street fighter 4 yeah Ultra first there was just SF4 then SSF4 then SSF4AE and now USF4. and the real kicker is they are all the same games! the difference some balancing and new characters, what adds insult to injury is you need to pay 40 dollars each game! I wouldn't normaly have a problem like this if the game wasn't programed with updates in mind however street fighter 4 has no excuse. It was released on 2 consoles who are capable of updating games on a daily if not constant basis there shouldn't be an excuse why these games couldn't be updates to the first one. In the end if you really want the latest version of SF4 then go for it but I reccommend getting it used. however most people are sheep so My advice would probably be useless

top 10 video game bosses #4 andross

for those of you that have played starfox you will already know who andross is for those who haven't played I suggest yoou do it is a great game, Now andross was a mad scientist banished to venom a barren uninhabitable planet for his unethical and crazy experiments now with this in mind he had no choice but experiment on himself and some of the other exiles on venom in fact he experimented on himself so much that he bacame a floating head with hands and used his new vast army to take his revenge on the lylat system and corneria. His N64 apperance was probably his most notable one with two possible encounters the easy path you fight an android disgiused as andross and on the hard path after you beat andross first form you fight his second form... His Brain! (complete with disembodied eyes). I don't know about you guys but this creep was nightmare fuel for me when I was a kid. other then that I just think it was a shame he wassn't fleshed out more besides just a vengful sceintist with a thirst for bloodshed but hey I don't exactly call the shots with development do I?

so heree he is #4 the vengeful scientist andross
