Now I know by the title you guys were expecting 2 to be number one however these two are at the top of the list for their surprise factor. first master hand first appeared in the first smash bros. his attacks are basicly everything a normal hand can do slap, punch, slam with a few ecentric move like using his index fingers as a gun or shooting lasers from his finger tips (in Melee and onwards).Crazy hand on the other hand first appeard in melee and unlike master hand his attack pattern is more erratic this dosen't necessarily make him more difficult per say but he can be unpridictable( Probably how he got the name). fighting these guys apart is easy however it is when they are together things get rough, you always have to keep their individual attack's and some of there moves that they have when they re seperate change to a combination like a slap turns into a devastating clap, the strategy for these two kind of varies depending on the character so here they I think someone lost their gloves master hand and crazy hand.
Yes the one the only Sephiroth one of the most Iconic bosses in Final Fantasy. Sephiroth was once hailed as a veteran soilder in Shinra's military divison however after going on a private mission and learning that he was a science experiment involving the extrateresstial being known only as Jenova a being that tried to take over the planet he sees this has his destiny and tries to follow in her foot steps. No wyou fight seprioth several deifferent times in the game but for this list we are focusing on the final sephiroth battle.
Now I haven't played 7 in a while nor do I have the game anymore it was lost in my move to NC so I have a very foggy recollection of the battle so I am sorry if I get some details wrong.
Now th battle starts of ussualy by seprioth attacking you and then cloud knowing counter counters with omnislash which (which one I don't remember-_-:) and this ussaly does enough damage to take him out in hit it is still a visual appealing attack. the boss fight however even though sephiroth is a badass this fight was underwhelming now before you all get sephiroth to impale me from my house and back whith his long blade keep in mind this is just this boss fight the others were awesome It's just dissappointing for a character as cool as he is to have a final fight that is just so underwhelming that you can't beleive it was real but Sephiroth's badassery was enough to put him in the number 2 slot so here he is the former hero sepiroth
Have you ever played the first pikmi to the end well then you should be familiar with this boss fight emporer bulblax is the hardest thig to fight in the game eve harder then the beady longlegs. this fight can get itense his attacks are devastating to your pikmin squad to say the least he always tries to lick up yor pikmin with his long tounge, then when his health is a quarter of the way down he will proceed to try to crush your pikmin. after all is said then done you get the secret safe a optional part that allows you to see the perfect ending after getting all 30 ship parts. now the down side to this battle is it's predictability I mean pikmin can be a frustrating game but most enimies tell you when they are about to attack. An Bulblax is no exception heck he even got down graded to enimie status in the second game. but what else is there to say he was difficult in the first game and this fight was a personal favorite so he it is the gluttonus bulblax
I know I have a top 10 list of bosses to finish but I am putting it on hold for this. I think capcom still think it is the 1990s why I say this is because of Ultra street fighter 4 yeah Ultra first there was just SF4 then SSF4 then SSF4AE and now USF4. and the real kicker is they are all the same games! the difference some balancing and new characters, what adds insult to injury is you need to pay 40 dollars each game! I wouldn't normaly have a problem like this if the game wasn't programed with updates in mind however street fighter 4 has no excuse. It was released on 2 consoles who are capable of updating games on a daily if not constant basis there shouldn't be an excuse why these games couldn't be updates to the first one. In the end if you really want the latest version of SF4 then go for it but I reccommend getting it used. however most people are sheep so My advice would probably be useless
for those of you that have played starfox you will already know who andross is for those who haven't played I suggest yoou do it is a great game, Now andross was a mad scientist banished to venom a barren uninhabitable planet for his unethical and crazy experiments now with this in mind he had no choice but experiment on himself and some of the other exiles on venom in fact he experimented on himself so much that he bacame a floating head with hands and used his new vast army to take his revenge on the lylat system and corneria. His N64 apperance was probably his most notable one with two possible encounters the easy path you fight an android disgiused as andross and on the hard path after you beat andross first form you fight his second form... His Brain! (complete with disembodied eyes). I don't know about you guys but this creep was nightmare fuel for me when I was a kid. other then that I just think it was a shame he wassn't fleshed out more besides just a vengful sceintist with a thirst for bloodshed but hey I don't exactly call the shots with development do I?
so heree he is #4 the vengeful scientist andross
This might seem obvious but who cares ridley is one of three bosses on this list that refuses to die i mean just look at his defeat record he was defeated n zebes, built into a ceyborg and tried finnish of samus on tallon IV, corrupted by phazon and then blown to smitherins, and I could go on. I also find it justifiable for saus to be scared stiff b y him in other m, I mean think about it how would you like a murderer that always comesback no matter how many time or how you kill him. He also has a pretty good design and his attacks can be potent however this makes him a little predictable every metroid gme has a ridley fight in it and there is always going to be some obvious way to beat him I wish I could say more but this is it for now
so here he #5 is the space pirate leader: Ridley
Yes the dreaded koopa king himself now before all the final fantasy fans come and call their freinds sepiroth and cloud to give me a good old fashioned inpailment I have my reasons other then that I am a nintendo fan. One of those reasons is the fact he was one of the first bosses ever introduced in video games and also in one of the only games at the time you could actually beat. yeah I know there was galaga with it's big mothership but that game endlessy uses the same boss. Now bowsers plan is always to kidnap peach yeah real shocker, what makes this never get old however is his presistance I mean think about what other villain (besides eggman) gets trounced time and time again only to repeat the same plan with a new twist. from Kidnapping peach outright to Bringing her to the edge of space.
This however gives evidence that he is not much of a strategist always coming up with the same plan time and time again only to bring peach to the one place Mario probably has a mental map of his castle. he even (In my theory anyway) falls for the traps he sets for mario why else would he have button/ax in the original or new super mario bros games it is because those are traps originaly set for Mario that get turned against him. other then that he is also somewhat of a likeable villain acting like that tough guy nobody can hate
so here he #6 that lovestruck koopa bowser
the final fantasy series is known for some pretty crazy characters wether it is having hair that defies gravity or having a sword that is half the lenght of the users body. This one however dosen't just take the cake he takes the whole bakery! and that would be kefka this psychotic clown looking villain dosen't sem threatening at first but then, he mentaly enslaves a supersoldier to attack a city full of innocents, burns down a castle, poisions a cities drinking water, kills the emporer he was working with and to add the cherry on top of this crazy fruit cake obtains the power of a god throws the world off balance and seperates you and your party members leaving them all for dead. Whiloe at the same time delivering a scenario that was never given before: what if the antagonist won? that's what it feels like you build up your party teach them skills getting ready for this big confrontation only to realise it too late. that dosn't stop the protaganists as he attempts to regroup his party pick up the pieces and goes forward into kefka's lair to right the wrongs kefka has comitted. That right their is what makes this boss fight so intresting it's not the same old same old it throws a whole new scenarion into the game without giving you time to react. Now as far as kefka goes he is probably that one baddie everyone loves to hate he is just evil to the very core this does however make him a little unbeleavable other then that he is just a good villain and worthy of being in the top 7
so here he is that Psychotic clown Kefka
Ah the kirby series a light hearted easy to pick up and play experince that anyone at any skill level can enjoy then You reach the final boss and then the game pulls the rug from beneath your feet. This would be the Zero battle from kirby not to be confused with the other zero this zero is a huge disembodied white eye that shoots blood...yeah like ghetsis this comes out of no where. especially in a game targted for kids. If that weren't bad enough the mid section bursts out and you have to fight it whilst more blood is shot out and then it makes you wonder... HOW DID THIS GET PAST THE RATINGS BOARD!? being a kid of the 90's I can kind of see how they got away with it but if they tried something like this today. There would be a flood of angry phone calls and for proof the video:
this battle isn't particularly hard in any sense just really distracting if you can focus on the boss long enough and ignore the background and blood he shoots out it must be a lost trend to put unexpected stuff like this in a seemingly innocent game
so here it is that I think it looks infected Zero
as a fan of the pokemon series and have played all the games this series is pretty straight forward capture pokemon, battle gym leaders, and defeat the evil organization in the region. While most of these games follow this cycle through out the series pokemon black and white are more story focused. (warning spoilers ahed for all four 5th gen games if you don't want to ruin the story don't go further you have been warned.) so onto the real boss of the peta like team plasma is Ghetsis. Ghetsis is a skilled deciever lying to all the team plasma membrs and the smartest people in the whole region to follow him only to supposidly free all of the pokemon in the world and would accomplish this goal through his adopted son N. two years later after his defeat at the hands of the first prtaganists he then started bearing a grudge against the protaganists and N. Too add to his twisted ways he also attempted to freeze all of unova solid with kyurems power. however his first defeat has left psycological wounds thus trying to kill the second protagnists.
Now for a boss in an RPG especially in an RPG as tame as pokemon he is really the first boss in that series to attempt homicide and is quite unexpected other then that his motives aren't really that beleavable plus his pokemon team isn't anything to write home about with some of the most exploitable weaknesses.
so here he is Number 8 the psychotic activist ghetsis
