Alright Gamespot.

I'm trying to decide which next-gen console I would like to pre-order. I was leaning towards the PS4 but now that Microsoft has changed their policies for the Xbox One, i'm not sure which one to go for. They both seem equally graphicly capable (yes i'm aware that the PS4 has faster RAM) and they both have a pretty strong game line-up.. I'm really into Fps and RPG games but I still occasionally enjoy some racing and fighting.

What would you guys reccomend?

For Single-player,

Yes Borderlands is very fun and addictive and has a tremendous replay value when compared to most other FPS games. The loot and leveling system are very well implemented into the game and the second play-through offers more game-play value.
Killzone 2 was a great game as well, although the controls were a tad bit clunky, the visuals are outstanding and IMO the best on any console game. They did a very good job at making you feel like you're playing an FPS by using the PS3's motion censored controllers to set claymores and other things like that. The game is very dark and gritty but overall it is an epic experience.

Both are the same price I believe, but you will get more game-play out of Borderlands when it comes to single-player. Killzone 2 is a much cooler experience (if you own an HDTV) due to the visuals and game effects. But once the game is over your only option is to go back and play it again, maybe on a different difficulty level. Or you can replay each level separately if you have a favorite.

HD is the only way to go with a next-gen console.
You wont get the full effect. Games look 10X better on an HD resolution.
