Most reatailers (surprizingly) actually follow the ESRB guidelines when it comes to "M" rated games. Which may be the reason that they didn't sell it to you.

Yeah... I actually found one too. SHe actually encourages me to play sometimes because she knows how much I enjoy it and also how much it de-stresses me after a long day at work. And being de-stressed leads to "othe games" that we both like to play. As far as what games she'll play?? Usually the simpler fare: puzzle games, Guitar hero II, and golf games we play together (links 2004). I also have a lot of emulators for my Dreamcast that she likes to bust out once ina while to play some of the old stuff. She also "tried" Halo 2 for me, but didn't like it too much.
But one thing... she has to learn the game on her own. I tried to teach her how to play Soul Calibur 2 once... suffice to say that ended badly in a fight that lasted for 3 DAYS!! SO no more fighting games for her and I together. But to give you a hint as to how cool she is.... We're getting married in November. And mind you this was HER idea : We will have Mario and Princess Toadstool on our cake instead of the traditional Bride and groom. How cool is that???
Dead Rising ws fun and enough of a challenge to keep you entertained for a while.
Call of Duty 2... Great game on the cheap.
Pick up some of the games on the Backwards compatibility list that you havn't played yet..
Best - Gears of War, GRAW (and 2), Guitar Hero 2, Several XBLA games
Worst - Burger King "Big Bumpin' ", FUzion Frenzy 2 was OK at best, Several XBLA Games
[QUOTE="anime-2k3"]Where is DOA on that list? :(zero9167tekken took it's place since this is the... xbox 360 forum...
Curious.... considering that DOA 3 was an XB launch title... and , oh wait for it, DOA 4 was a 360 launch title....care to explain sir?? Oh and lets not forget the dual disk DOA 1+2 set, and the DOA BArbie Dress up..er... beach vollyball games....
You pretty much answered your own (seriously flame-baited) question sir. For most fans of the game, the online, and offline, multiplayer is the reason. It is a really well balanced fun game with terrific level design and game customization. Mot to mention the solid and robust match making system over XBox Live. Possibly (if Sony plays theier cards right) you may get something as good as Live with the release of Home for the PS3. I just think that right now with the , well, disjointedness of PS3's current online offerings, you really havn't expireienced how great online console gaming can truely be.
