I didn't even know that cucumber qualified as a flavor.

I've been to Japan many times and you would not believe how many different flavor drinks the Japanese try out. Some are really good and sound good, IE Fanta Melon (mmmmm, melon!) and some do not sound good at all Pocari Sweat:o (but it still tastes good).

All in all, you just have to go into a couple of the corner stores and just buy something that looks interesting (because I can't read Khanji, Hiragana, or anything else written in Japanese) and give it shot. Sometimes it was worth it, sometimes it was a waste of $4 (bought 350 yen).

Total for my first car was $750 in 1989 dollars. I had to contribute $250. *Embarrasing not* It was a brown Datsun (not Nissan) 510 hatchback. Yes, I know...but it ran, it was paid for and it was mine. Eventually the engine seized up because it leaked oil and I had to abandon it in a parking lot. LOL.
