The same things that COD2 a great game are the same things that make its higher difficulty settings nearly impossible.
I have literally never played a WWII game. I know its a gaming staple and the genre has been milked to death with Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Brother in Arms and Battlefield flooding the market, but I thought I would ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
LBP is a great level creation tool, but falls very short in the "game" department. You should rent it first.
Littlebigplanet for the PS3 is a groundbreaking title that lets you build anything (and I do mean anything) your heart desires. As long as its in the perspective of a 2.5D platformer. You play as Sackboy, a tiny and ... Read Full Review3 of 4 users found the following review helpful
Nights feels really Japanese, almost creepyly Japanese. Its fun, but I felt like an outsider throughout the experience.
Sonic team develops a lot of Sonic games and are have grown to be known as that team that keeps releasing lack-luster Sonic rehashes. That's almost what Nights feels like, a lackluster Sonic game. The story is a ty... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
LSW:TCS is crazy addictive, endlessly entrancing and the massive amount of content makes it well worth your cash.
I didn't give Lego Star Wars on the Xbox a very high rating. It was a 6.7 in fact. So, what exactly changed in the nearly two years since the original game came out. Well, the Xbox 360 happened and in swooped achievem... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Overlord is Pikmin with a twisted sense of humor and a traditional fantasy setting. Its good, but things have gone awry.
I loved Pikmin and Pikmin 2. So, when I played the Overlord demo, and saw that it was pretty much the same concept I got really excited. Overlord is a hardcore gamer friendly fantasy version of Pikmin that has your cha... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
As a kid Diddy Kong Racing was that Nintendo 64 game that your mom simply would not buy because you already had Mario Kart 64 and Nintendo 64 games were like $70. I always longed to own DK Racing, with its planes and ho... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
No More Heroes is a fantastically mature addition to the Wii library, but a few major problems hinder the experience.
I really enjoyed No More Heroes. The blood, attitude, weapons, art style and control scheme were on completely on point. I have never played a game like it before and I will probably be playing Killer 7 pretty soon, bu... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Banjo-Kazooie on XBOX 360 IS the original game, but Its not what was changed that bothered me, it's what wasn't.
Banjo Kazooie, for its time was amazing. It was Mario 64 to the extreme and built upon the base of what was at the time the most exciting genre, the 3D platformer. The Xbox 360 version gives Banjo a slight face lift an... Read Full Review4 of 7 users found the following review helpful
Halo 2 mirrors the original's atmosphere well, but I can't help but feel a little disappointed in how things turned out.
As always I am grading this FPS on its single player only, I don't like multiplayer so you will not see me mention it here. Halo was a fantastic FPS for the Xbox and was partly responsible for me getting back into FPSs.... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Doom is a legit classic and the XBOX Live version is a fantastic port. FPS fans need to buy this and learn their roots.
IDDQD and IDKFA....the god mode and all weapons codes for the original Doom on PC. I don't know why I still remember them, but its obvious that Doom had a huge impact on me in the 1990s. I remembered Doom being super h... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
The Original Rayman Raving Rabbids was a highlight of the Wii launch titles. Outside of Wii Sports this was the one game that everyone could enjoy that didn't suck. When I heard that the sequel would only be on Wii I t... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Chains of Olympus is as action packed as it's big league counterparts and doesn't slack up on the difficulty either.
The PS2 God of War titles have both been excellent. Epic length, uber-violent trips through Greek Mythology have become the signature experience here. Chains of Olympus is a violent as is predecessors and carries the b... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Heavenly Sword does a great job getting your attention but its length and combo system taint an otherwise great game.
When I first saw Heavenly Sword it seemed almost like a God-dess of War game. You have a weapon wielding protagonist that takes on dozens upon dozens of enemies. Well I was very wrong. Heavenly Sword is very little li... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Bioshock holds a place in the heart of anyone who has every played it and it will be played for generations to come.
Not only is Bioshock the only Xbox Live demo that honestly scared the crap out of me, but the game is equally and exponentially amazing. Like most games, it has it's flaws, but the multitude of things coming together to... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Tomb Raider: Legend
Lara Croft is reborn for the new generation and boy is it done with style and finesse, but can she be taken seriously?
Tomb Raider has never been a series that had my interest. With it being on PC (I don't do PC games) then being ported to and developed for the Playstation (I used to be a big Nintendo exclusive fanboy) consoles I have n... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Sonic Rivals is the first adventure for the Sonic gang on the PSP. It does alot of things right but seems rather shallow
Sonic Rivals is somewhat of a racing game for the PSP, but rather than being a traditional racing game where you and your opponent race along a road (a la the god awful Sonic-R), you race your opponent on a traditional s... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Far Cry: Instincts is an extraordinary shooter, who's bare-bones story doesn't do the fantastic gameplay justice.
When I picked up FC:I I was expecting a really open world shooter...almost a first person GTA. Luckily I was wrong. Far Cry is a linear and fast paced shooter that knows what it's good at...and does it's best to exploi... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Even though Lost Winds is short, its interesting enough to keep your attention. What exactly did you expect for $10?
Lost Winds is short...I mean really short! You could easily blow (pun intended) through it is like 2-3 hours if you knew exactly where you needed to go. Other than being terribly short (probably due to Wii memory restr... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
I wasn't expecting much from Master of Disguise, but ended up really liking this quirky and lovable Wario adventure.
Wario has had a strange life since he was conceived. He has had success as a platformer star, has been in several Mario sports and party games, and stars in the wildly popular Warioware games. Wario: Master of Disguise... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Sonic's 360 debut has really lofty goals and hits most of them but overall suffers from a serious lack of debugging.
Sonic's past 3D efforts have been iffy. The Sonic Adventure series was decent. Sonic Heroes was a disappointing follow up. Shadow the Hedgehog was a nice departure but still not great. Sonic and Secret Rings was terri... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Ty was fun but it was also fun the first time I played it as Banjo-Kazooie. You won't find anything original here.
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a great game for what it is...a traditional 3D platformer. Technically, there is very little wrong with the basic engine and game functions. It plays smoothly and has the addictive collecting ... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful

Echochrome is a unique puzzler that wants so badly to be innovative that it rarely stops to see if its still a good game
Echochrome has the most distinctive look of any portable platform puzzler you will probably ever play and that look fits the game play well. However, the gameplay is built on three-five rules (I can't remember how many.... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
If Call of Duty and Halo had a love child and that child's crazy uncle was Ratchet and Clank you would have Resistance.
Resistance: Fall of Man is fantastic shooter that takes the good from other titles and spices it up with very nice Sci-fi elements to bring you one of the best launch titles ever. You are Nathan Hale (I found it rea... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
The only real legitimate problem with Ultimate Spiderman is its length. Just when you start to really love it, it ends.

Viewtiful Joe is a great idea with strong sound and visuals that is almost spoiled by its unrelenting difficulty.
I get what Clover was trying to do with Viewtiful Joe, make a visually pleasing unique side-scrolling platformer that was fast-paced, with a clever and odd sense of humor. For the most part they got it right, but even o... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
I don't know why everyone has a problem with GH: On Tour. It does exactly what it sets out to do and it does it well.

Crash Twinsanity takes the series in a MUCH needed direction and successfully makes Crash Bandicoot fun and funny again

While Half- Life is ugly by today's PS2 standards, it doesn't take away from the terribly engaging story and gameplay.
