@Evil_Rage i 100% agree they should have ditch multiplayer in tomb raider in favor for a longer story singe player campaign and a larger world to explore.
@CItizenTaylor i will agree with you that there a lot of pathetic characters in ff13 universe in fact lightning is the only character i like in the ff13 universe. I've played a lot of the older final fantasy games and i do know where you are coming from. But lightning is an awesome character she's such a badass, could you explain what makes lightning pathetic and give me some honest reasons not nostalgic fanboys logic. Also if a new ff comes out where there is a female lead again what would you what to see with the female lead character.
@aRealCoolGuy @edpeterson really tomb raider got 3.5 million sales and that's not lncluding digital sales if you included that the sales would easiy pass the 4million mark and all this in three weeks. You got remember that square enix had stupid over execptions for this game they wanted 6million sales in under month what no game sells that many copies in a month no matter how good it is. Also square enix is in a lot of shit at the moment due to their mistakes both now and the past they are in a poor fincaol state they put trust that this game would put them back in the green again so there need to sell a insane number of copies. Problem is square enix is in such a hole now that it well take more then a great game to save them hell it will take many great games and a serve manganent change to save them. Also you so that games that have female lead sells then games that have male leads well then how do you explain the tr in 3 weeks beat the sales off unchacted 1 2 3 which each took a year to reach 3 million so that fact alone proves that the statement that games with male leads sell more the games with female leads is wrong. And by the way i am i guy.
@Breyant no lightning does work it's just the stupid nostagic ff fanboys that cry over everything because its not like there beloved ff7 and they just can't take that lightning is a better character then their cloud and shes a girl and that hurts them. But Lara is still a much better character and se need to start fouse more on her. Square enix saying the tomb radiar has poor sales is nothing more then them trying to shift the blame to some one eles, se just stop blaming everyone else for your Mistakes.
@luizpaulonm I know tell about it this nostalgic type fanboys really piss me off too. They just can't understand the series has to change to keep it fresh therefore the ff series continues on if they kept doing the same thing again and again the series would have died. Also i have played older ff and like you and i loved every one of them each had their bad points and their good points. This fanboys really are plain sptuid they want the old turn based system etc etc no wonder square enix does not listen to this lossers. Sqaue enix knows that ff has keep up with the changing world and the improvements in technology,something this idoits do not understand
@Llednar7 First things first if i offered any of you guys by saying ff10 was crap i am sorry i did go a bit overboard. All i was trying say that ff13 and even ff13-2 got undesvered hate because it was a different ff for a different era and because of the hate other gamers did,t give the game a chance to show it,s character instead they listen to the hate and the hate grow.But the way you said it it does make sense since i experience the thing with ninja gadain 3.I am i huge fan of the ninja gardain series and in ninja gadain 3 they took the core thing that made the series special.I guess ff13 was to you what ninja gaiden 3 was to me.
First things first ff13versus is not dead they just change the name to ff15.So to all you guys that what give square enix hate because of this don,t they are not that stuipd. Second i want to talk about you so called diehard ff fans ive played ff7 ff8 ff10 ff10-2 ff13 ff13-2 so yeah you could call me a diehard fan as well out off all this games ff7 was my favorite closely followed by ff13 13-2.The point i am trying to put out is about the hate you,s hardcore fans give ff13 and ff13-2 ok there where not the best ff yes but they sure were not the worst as you,s say they both way better then the piece of crap that was ff10 and 10-2.It linear is what i hear a lot that true ff13 was linear ff13-2 wasen,t linear but so what if the game was linear it had such good story that i quickly forget about the linear part of the game.Also there other games which way worse linear wise then ff13 i give three examples cod bf and mass effect 3 how come no one rages about this games i yeah it,s not ff13 and it not square enix.ff13 and 13-2 is a different ff for a different era for a different king of gamers by the way most of the hate this games get are just seaneless hate by how do not understand the game and how also do not know how to play it properly as well so what do they do then they give the games senceless hate how sad.
To all you haters off the ff13 and any new ff games grow up a series that been runing for 20+years can not stay the same year in year out you have to change it to keep it fresh and new ff7 was the best in the series yes but ff13 was also pretty good as well athough no where near as good ff7 it was still a better then ff10 was. You guys say that sqauce enix srewed us fans no that not true you stuipd fanboys are what srewed square enix by not appecting the new style of ff yes they moveing to a more action stlye rpg like koh but like koh it will still have turn based elements.Talking about a game developer that has srewed the fans look no futher then bioware look what they did to me3
