It didn't turn out bad. It just wasn't as good as the first. why does everyone keep saying that H2 is bad? It was bad. And what's worse was that Bungie knew it was crap but went ahead full steam on the hype train with every mag article, every screen shot, every 2 second vid released and, most of all, these weekly updates where frankie jerks off to each single aspect of the game.
They should have been castrated.
Halo 2 was not bad at all. It wasn't Halo 1 in terms of story...but a far cry from BAD...Lighten up on the game. You had fun with it the first time you played it, you know you did. That's what counts. Outside of the ending the game did what needed to be done, advanced the story while adding new weapons and fleshing out the universe.
I did have fun with it the first time I played it. But, unlike part 1, the more I played it the more I hated it.
Covenant carbine - meh Brute shot - meh Brutes - meh Them flying covenant - meh Jackal snipers - meh Arbiter - meh Corridor environments - meh (major step backwards from the original) Crappy, ugly, glitchy cutscenes - meh Crappily directed cutscenes - meh (should learn from Kojima) Crappy boss/finale - meh Master Chief still ran like a fat tosser - meh Releasing a POS of a soundtrack - meh
Multiplayer was decent though.

Yeah but this time they have doubled there staff and didnt start the game 9 months before it was due out........ lol I don't believe that 9 month crap at all - wtf were they doing for the other 2 years and 3 months. Bungie are arrogant tw4ts and only realized they had an ugly, unfinished, unpolished POS until it was too late.Â
Hopefully they learnt their lesson, but judging by the quality of that crappy graphic novel they released, I wouldn't bet on it.
