I'm just going to say that the ignorance going on in this thread is of epic proportions.

Also, this is in the level of people defending Microsoft for charging for online. Companies blow it sometimes and this time Sony blew it completely and I can't bring myself to defend them. Many people here know that my posting habits are usually in favor of Sony because I thought they were a company to be trusted. Well with this I lost a great deal of trust for them.

How ironic, you're calling other people ignorant, yet you sit there making assumptions.

[QUOTE="Episode_Eve"] Good to see you back online too. This thread is truly deserving of the game!Episode_Eve

True true, really outstanding game. They pulled off more than I could have ever imagined, Santa Monica still has it!

Was there ever a question as to them *losing* it? :P I don't care what their next game is, I just know it's gonna be superb.

I don't know about losing it, but their track record is so damn good. It's hard to believe their games just keep getting better lol.

[QUOTE="lantus"][QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"] was it laziness when bioware took out the mako driving in Me2? No. Thats what they call streamliningShinobishyguy
Yeah, but that's Bioware, the exploring in the original Mass Effect was crap. This is Nintendo and Mario we're talking about here, and 3D Mario's always had a great exploration element in their hub worlds, with the exception of Galaxy, and now they're getting rid of it entirely, that to me is laziness.

So they cut out the needeless hubworld and put their focus on the levels themselves. It doesn't mean they're lazy

That's the point though, it doesn't have to be needless since they've proven many times that they can make a good hub world with great exploration. In actuality though, this decision is probably what made them able to make this game so fast, so in that respect I'm glad they did it, but still I don't agree with it.

[QUOTE="lantus"]Shame Nintendo, I would have figured you would take the high road and improved on it, not completely abandon it. Seems like laziness me thinks.Shinobishyguy

Hmm, I guess Sims 3 and Star Craft 2 on PC.
