Only RTSs,I rarely play Starcraft and refuse flat out to play Company of F***ing Heroes. Problem with RTS games is there's such a vast band for skill level. For example, with an FPS, if you die, you understand why, it's because someone was quicker than you, had better aim, had a better gun or had a better position. That's 4 main variables. With an RTS, you can consistently lose and not even know why. Other problem is with RTS games that have matchmaking like Starcraft, you are almost guaranteed to be paired with a player ranked higher than you, which means you are at a disadvantage from the start. So unless you are already good at the game, you will get p***ed on nearly every time which just kills your enthusiasm for the game.I can tolerate Starcraft because it's relatively simple to learn each unit's strengths and weaknesses, so you can form some kind of strategy.

I literally can't handle Company of Heroes though, call me a noob but to me that game makes no sense. For example, if you get supply blocked in a normal RTS, you need more resource gatherers. In CoH, you are screwed, you just have to wait and get raped since there is no way to increase your supply rate more than a couple of points per minute. On top of that, every unit costs a supidly high amount of supply, so you are essentially supply blocked for the whole game and spend most of it waiting to be able to build 1 unit. Then you have artillery, what kind of fair is it in an RTS where one side can build a unit that can shoot the full length of the map without even having sight on it? Once your opponent has artillery, you might as well quit because anything you build they can kill from the comfort of their base and trying to get the limited units you can build over to it to destroy it is futile. Then you have units that, for no discernable reason, are unable to turn around :S So if you set up a machine gunner, and the enemy simply walks behind them, they are safe since the machine gunners can't turn around for some reason. Then you have the s***ty anti tank guns which can be defeated simply by a tank driving in circles around them since they turn at such a glacial pace that they are easily outrun.

On top of that, units aren't counted individually, they spawn as a "sqaud", now when you are firing on a squad, you can't target a specific member of the squad. This means that if you have an anti personel vehicle, and you are being attacked by a squad which has one member with a missile launcher, you can only fire in the general direction of the squad. So whether or not your vehicle decides to target the member with the launcher or not is out of your control. More often than not your vehicle will spin around in circles in confusion and target random squad members rather than doing the logical thing and attacking the one with the launcher first.

Building any kindof machine gun emplacements is essentially useless too since all your opponent needs to do is drop off map artillery on your defenses and they are screwed. That's like if in Starcraft a terran player could drop nukes without needing to use a Ghost, they just plonk them down anywhere they can see on the map. That's how ridiculous it is.

Unit AI is a travesty too, if you have a tank which takes a hit in it's rear armour (which causes more damage), it won't do the sensible thing and turn to face the attacker. God no, it will just sit there and take it like a **** until you come along and manually tell it to not bea retard.

I could go on. Basically what I'm saying is yes. I get frustrated at some games, and Company of Heroes is a broken mess of a game and I wish it dead.
