you are absolutely right, they shouldn't be forced to change the ending. It is their product, they should be able to end it any way they chose. However this is also my money, and after being let down as much as I was, and I am far from the only one, I chose not to purchase bioware or EA products in the future. Very simple. Alienate your fan base, lose long term revenue.
