This has only got to be a taste of what's to come. Look at all the videos and you can see the graphics look nice. I just hope they fix the shooting mechanic, seemed wonky to me. And the camera wasn't quite there as well. Too early to tell I think.
Anyone notice the Unreal logo on game start-up? Name the last game to actually use that engine and look halfway decent. I do think the camera jumps around a lot, the cover system is cool, the shooting mechanic SUX. Being able to mark people and auto-kill is lame. The physics are weird. Anyone know when the game went gold? L8r.
Disappointing to say the least. The shooting mechanic is lame, the reticule acts weird. I love how you can Mark people and then hit Y to execute, LAME. I was wondering why they pushed this game back, and it's obvious they know it's a piece and are trying to put something together that won't get them laughed at. The cover system is weird, but kinda cool. All in all, I think the shooting mechanic destroys it for me. So disappointing.
thanks for the responses. The disc is immaculate. At this point it wont even read the disc, I insert the disc, xbox chokes and sputters, then it eventually gives me the error message. I was thinking of using my cd fixer to resurface the dvd. It's just so weird that the game worked, then slowly deteriorated over time. Strange. I did buy the warranty with the console, 2 year from BB. The game was INSIDE the box, so I wonder if it is covered under the warranty... ;]
Sorry, I tried searching the forums for posts on this, but I'm lazy so i only devoted a few minutes. ;] Bought RE5 limited edition xbox console bundle on release date - comes with copy of RE5 (strangely enough) ;] Installed game to hard drive, it bonked out a couple time @ 50 percent, but it eventually installed Played through entire game with only a few (maybe 2 or 3) freezes, that's it. 20+hours of playing time Downloaded the first new episode of RE5, popped in my RE5 game disc for verification of hard drive install Please Isert this disc into an xbox 360 - or something to that effect is the error message I get now, unplayable. as soon as I pop in the dvd my xbox starts to trip out, cd grinds and spins, yada yada. everything else works perfectly, just got done playing mass effect 2 forever. Thanks!
