Don't get me wrong, I love Halo justas much asthe next guy. I've played Halo 2 on XBL for hundreds of hours....so I am excited for the early release of Halo 3 in Sept. But I was thinking isnt this a bad idea for Microsoft?

It can't hurt if Bungie had another month and a half to work on Halo 3.

No to mention ur also now screwing up the sales of some big titles such as Half-Life 2, Mass Effect, Lost Oddesy, and its gonna slow down the sales of GTA 4 on 360 too.

Do External HD's work on 360? it plugs in via USB 2.0

As far as i see Nintendo lately:

N64 - Failed because of cartridges and it was very expensive to make/buy. Not alot of support from 3rd party developers who all went to Sony.

Gameboy - Low powered kiddy looking handheld consoles that don't have good games tbh...so is that why Gameboy Color/ Advance/SP/ and the orginal sold 190 million units??

GC - Failed, no online or 3rd party support, had the same games over and over again.

DS - the DS sells very well in Europe especially England, and many gmaes take use of the touch screen, Advacne Wars, Kirby, Star Fox, Animal Crossing, Princess Peach

Wii - Well the easiest console to develop for wud be i guess a 360/Wii tie...becuz the PS3 and 360 or both expensive to develop for..whereas u can just make a regualr for the Wii and spend more time not on graphics but on gameplay....and if the Wii ends up like the DS i think Nintendo will be very happy
