[QUOTE="TheDidact"][QUOTE="TheWalkingGhost"][QUOTE="TheDidact"]But I thought retail was dying....... Anyway, I wonder how many were sold in the USA?

353,000 was sold here in one day.

Didn't Madden do 900,000 within a day or few?

Nope. FIFA 13 has apparently had the biggest launch of any game in 2012 according to IGN. Oh, also Madden sold like 1.65 million in the first week.

Again, based on polls, this election is base vs. base. It has been from the beginning. Romney's ultra conservatism is an act. We don't actually know what he believes since he's changed his mind conveniently on every F***ing issue.

Even at his most left Romney is not more left than right. I don't really believe anymore that Romney really has any hard believed in things other than the whole God living on a planet somewhere in space thing. On that note maybe he'd give some damn funding back to NASA even if it is just to find God.

Doubt it. Last I remember, Romney/Ryan apparently want more clear/precise goals for NASA rather than more funding. Not to mention, I am sure Romney will cut anything that isn't Defense spending when he/if gets into office.

Romney easily won the debate. He was always on the offensive and seemed very sure of what he was talking about (even though, as always with politicians, they were half truths). Whether I agree with him or not is a completely other question though. :x

[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]Canada because they mind their own f*cking business.Neoklondiak

Canada's been involved in most of the recent conflicts the US has engaged in, save Iraq.

Well other than that and Afghanistan, what other recent conflicts are there? :?

That awkward moment when you can't play a Canadian band's song in CANADA because it's region blocked. :P

I am Canadian and I plan on keeping it this way. Maybe it's because I agree with the social outlook of Canadians or something about the air. Boston is quite nice however, so if I were to move, it would probably be there. The only country I would consider moving to permanently is the UK because language wouldn't be a problem. If language wasn't a problem, Germany, Holland, and Japan would also be on my list.

[QUOTE="BiancaDK"] why is that though? i see people arguing for the use of nuclear power with good sound arguments, but so far i haven't seen anyone arguing against the use with any really convincing argumentationN30F3N1X

That's because the amount of people on the planet who are against nuclear power and actually have a clue about it can be counted on two hands.

Enlighten us then?

Relative to the rest of humanity, it would have to be a 3 or a 2. - Health is mediocre. (Although I am changing that! :D) - Great friends - Love what I am doing in University - Not so tight with my family. - Live in one of the best countries on Earth

Good for now but nuclear fission sucks. Let's be frank here. It gives us a lot of energy output but the result is a lot of radioactive material which just sucks. Now, say in 20 years, we will have Nuclear Fusion. That will be far superior and far better. Why? Well for one thing it doesn't release radioactive material. It releases Helium gas. What does it need? Hydrogen, the single most popular element in the known universe. Additionally, we're looking at 3 - 4 times more energy from Fusion to Fission.
