The original Tomb Raider was a great game....I enjoyed playing the PC version which didn't have music, it gave the game atmosphere and a scary feeling of being very alone against a dangerous unknown environment. Great game!
My first game was the original Diablo I bought January 1997, I was hooked, and the rest as you say is history. I bought Tomb Raider, Doom 2, and Rama shortly after on recommendations from PC Gamer.
Very true. The solitary feel among all those rocky mountains...
And yeah then "Diablo" arrived. One of the few D&D games I ever played. Man, The Butcher.
Well of course these were great games indeed but don't forget that we had -20 less gaming experience so we could get euphoric on things which may let us cold now.
I remember it was 1996 and I went to this gameshop and asked for new games. He told me about this certain game and said it was really good so I rented it first. It glued me to the screen for the whole week. It was Tomb Raider. The rest is history.
I am thrilled! Looking forward to play the game a.s.a.p. Finished "XCOM Enemy Within" a couple of months ago. I see that they have added so many exciting new stuff which will make the game even better. AAE for sure
