I think giving this a 4/10 is brutally undeserving. I completely agree the way the timeline is presented is truly confusing. I have never read the books but have played the games and that gave me enough of an understanding to work through what they were trying to do. If I had done neither, I might have been hopelessly lost. That said, the production could have been done more to show where the scenes were taking place in time, because there were instances during episodes where I would have to figure out where in the timeline I was, which inevitably pulled me out the show.

Beyond that I watched all eight episodes and enjoyed them. I think 7/10 is a reasonable score. Not terrible, not great. A four just seems spiteful.
