log into your gamertag and go to the systems blade then go to family settings then go to xbox live controls and then into privacy and friends and then voice and text and change it to everyone that will fix your problem.....you could change everythins else to allow access to everything if you want aswell
ok so what if i just go and buy a core system, and put my old hard drive in it. would that work??

no it wont work they check your serial number when you return and anyways MS extended the warrenty. call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and then you'll get it fixed in 2-4 weeks
I've it both ways but they both died so i have it standing yp cause it looks best right now and non of my discs are sratched so i dont think it matters
