Idk, I admittedly only played about 30 mins of it, but so far it seems to be pretty fun. I like the controls with the teleport and the option to move in small jumps using the joystick on the touch. The combat seems pretty basic, but the puzzles have been fun. It is a bit annoying when the sensors appear in the game here and there, and the audio cuts off between loading screens, but that has been the only issues that I have experienced so far. 8/10 so far
@metallinatus: Got the XB1 S because of the 4k blu-ray actually, was one of the cheapest on the market at the time. I also sell my consoles on ebay once I am done with them, so not a complete waste of money, just somewhat.
If MS launches Scorpio with an exclusive game showcasing it's power, I might consider buying it. Well, I will probably buy it anyways but it would go a long ways in justifying it. Wife: "Didn't you just purchase the Xbox One S?" I think I will go with the 4k gaming excuse, do have the 4k TV.
@RageGT: Good luck man, I started on insanity myself, got through the first outpost, but got bogged down trying to get my second. I had to drop to hardcore. Coming from insanity it seems like easy mode, but oh well. Keep up the good fight!
I am waiting for this to unlock on the PS4, but I am disappointed by the early streams and reviews. WTH, Bioware/EA? One of the best parts of previous ME's were the character interactions, how do you not nail that in this one? Oh well, will have to check it out tonight and see how it is. Hopefully I can get by the nightmarish eyes, uncanny valley at it's best.
@ballashotcaller: There are a lot of little details that went into making the game feel very deep imo, for example having your horse have to respect/like you before it will reliably follow your commands. And like you are saying, different areas feel unique, have their own style. And Puzzles, like all Zelda games. are great.
@kazrium: Also, I did get the Pro Controller, I am really liking playing it on it compared to the joy-cons. Both work well, but coming from both the XB1 and PS4, having a nice controller helps! I can also verify that there is a message from Nintendo hidden under the right thumb stick =)
I am about 3 hrs in, really enjoying it so far, a must have for Zelda Fans. That said, framerate does drop quite a bit, and I don't understand how Nintendo could come out with a new console and have its flagship game not running at a steady framerate. I mean, it looks good, but I am also playing Horizon Zero Dawn, and it is no where close to those graphics, and HZD has a rock solid framerate on a four year old console.
That said, this console is also portable, something unique, and I can appreciate that to make this possible some corners had to be cut in terms of power. I wasn't expecting the Switch to compete power wise, and I am excited that this first game is true to Nintendo's m.o, fun.
