You don’t choose, ‘I want to be a female or male character’ you now choose a body type,” Jonkers says. “Because we want you to feel free to create any character you want. So you choose your body type and we have two voices, one that’s male sounding, one is female sounding. You can mix and match.”
Sounds like they're excluding the majority to "include" the small vocal minority. What about the people who want their character to be a male or female? Can't they just have an other option?
I'm buying the game regardless because it looks amazing. But I hate when devs say they want to be more "inclusive" and not even realize that they're excluding the majority of players by doing so.
It doesn't sound like a big deal to me. If I want to play a guy, choose a guy body type and a male voice. Done.
Nothing really. I still have plenty of little bubbles I can relax in whether it's my home, my air space, or inside my car. If I take a walk early in the morning and I pass cyclists and joggers, I just wave at them and they wave back. No words needed. If they greet me, I greet them back.
Life is as simple or as complicated as you make it. So long as I'm not forced into anything, I'm fine.
