Awesome-ness incarnate online...and a damn fun game offline.

Ace Combat 6: Kaihou e no Senka

Rated on April 07, 2008 by juggalo

Awesome-ness incarnate online...and a damn fun game offline.

I avoided this one initially as I had images of a prettied up version of the old PS2 games....pretty, fun for a while but shallow and eventually unsatisfying. Oh boy was I wrong. A pilot mate of...

Dull, lifeless and not what the PGR experience was supposed to be about

    Project Gotham Racing 4

Dull, lifeless and not what the PGR experience was supposed to be about

Let's start with the bikes. They just don't work. Ugly handling so at odds with the smooth and pleasureable-ness usually associated PGR. They seemed like a late addition that wasn't fully play tested....

    A re-visit has re-ignited the flame!

I have bought and played every PGR and had this one on release all those years ago. I loved it. It was pure joy. But....by PGR4 I felt something was missing. The joy of the powerslide, the views of...

    I was wrong. So wrong.

I'm so sorry. I was wrong. My old review sits below as a tombstone to my idiocy. The DLC of recent weeks has elevatedd this game to a true classic. Is there anything this game DOESN't have!?!...

Shoddy, lacklustre, very dumb and guttingly disapointing!!! GAMESPOT GOT IT RIGHT ON THE MARK

I hate to heap bad vibes on something so many people spent many long hours crafting.....but this time it really is called for. The concept and design were superb. You could almost have THE perfect ...

I saw the bad reviews and stayed away...BIG MISTAKE

Wow, I'm still there!! My head is still lost in the awe of standing on spires and temple tops looking out over the ancient cities of Damascus and Jerusalem. Stunning. The buzz of the roof top runs,...

Something really isn't right with the review of this game. I'm stunned at teh low score. Very few games really make my jaw drop but Skate has done so repeatedly. It really is pure joy. The guy at t...

I'm sorry 2K...you've just lost a LONGTERM fan!!! EA have almost made he perfect hockey game. Almost.

Last year I got all excited about the skillstick...but the game around it was chunky, unfinished and clunky as hell. It felt broken and cheap. NHL 2K7 was on the otehr hand a belter. It had old-school...

A graphics whore eats his hat!! Simply amazing

I am gobsmacked. A game that I thought was a rehash of a tired and dead old franchise and game genre turns out to be THE greatest DS game I've had yet!! The graphics are actually superb, the sprites ...

    SHOCK HORROR...a good licence?!

Picked this up at bargain bin prices...and was floored by the production values. The dev team have done their best to add some complexity to what would be a dull flying shooter. And yes it is tough, b...
