the pixels don't appear when you're using the tv for something else? have you tried unplugging the xbox completly and plugging it back again?

Ok so i was playing my xbox fine yesterday, no problems what so ever, then all of a sudden my disk tray started jamming... i didnt think much of it and assumed it would be an easy problem to fix, Then this morning i put it on and attempted to play skate 2, it froze and gold coloured pixels were across the screen, i restarted my xbox and had a red light. i waited for about an hour for it to cool down to see if this had any affect, This time it come on but im still getting the gold pixels across the screen. any help would be much appreciated!!
