I havn't had it freeze the last hour and a half watching a dvd though, so mabye its ok now, I unplugged the audio/video cable and plugged it back in and it seems ok, before hand it had some weird graphical glitches too, but I havn't seen them yet.

the RROD is covered under warrenty no matter how old the xbox is? I hope so! :D

I have a weird problem, my xbox is now freezing every couple of minutes,I can't play a game or watch a movie, or even be on the dashboard with out it freezing.

It freezes even when Im not playing a game...

What do I do? I bought it awhile ago and Im sure they would charge me to repair it, but if the repair is 150 bucks I rather just buy a new xbox since they are on sale.

hey I have a problem with my 360's music streaming too, it won't connect at all, I have done the wmp 11 media sharing thing and it won't check mark the damn button, soon as I do that it unchecks it (on the pc)

I even went back to useing the WMP10 and I still can't get it to work, my 360 says cannot find computer, yet the media center on the 360 works fine with all my music? wtf is going on?

Never mind, I just returned it for a new video card, the nvidia ge-force 8600 GTS

so far its running very well, I dont even need to have my cover off, I can run crysis on mostly all high (except post processing on medium, and AA off, and a lower resolution)

im pretty happy about Nvidia now, I have never used one before... plus it was easy to install and doesn't make a loud humming noise from the fan...

now the main issue is I can't get the control panel to work...

thats just about it though, it'll be fixed before the end of today hopefully

actually I think it runs quite fine after using a house fan, so I just need to get a few more fans for my case... in fact after a half and hour of playing crysis on high, my card is just barly warm,

plus the x1950 is more expensive right now where I bought the 2600XT and I rather not return it anyway...

ok ran fine for abotu 12 minutes (before I couldn't even play for 3 minutes...

it is a heating issue, so I don't know what any options I have...

Ill try to get some fans in (might have to modify the case, its an HP media center, only room for 2 fans) but right now the house fan (its a quite a big fan) is working... how many fans should I get for the thing to equal the size of my fans power (its half the size of the case...) also should I ask into some sort of aftermarket cooler?
