What I mean is like when you play Max Payne 2, you can see the character's whole body while aiming with a targeting thing in the middle.

It looks like when you use free aim, you're seeing behind the characters shoulder, but I thought when you free aim you can also see the whole character's body with a targeting circle in the middle.  Can you shoot while being behind the characters body or is it always behind the shoulder?
