I went through my posting history

It's amazing what you find out about yourself when you take a look at things you said a year and a half ago. I found myself saying, "Did I really say that?" It's amazing how much my ideals have changed in such a relatively short time. Also, I found out that I was sick a year ago today. It really is nice to have a record of things you have said and the feelings you had at a certain time.

On a less philosophical note, it seems that my relationship with Guitar Hero is getting a little unhealthy. I'm surprised my Guitar controller still works after all of the abuse I give it when I miss a note. The thing was a piece of crap to begin with anyway.

The final tidbit of information that I have to share is that I have a new favorite comedian. Demitri Martin is now my favorite comedian. His cleverness and subtle sense of humor is just the thing I love to hear.

That's all from me for now, and I promise that I won't take as long for a blog next time.

It sure has been a while

It's been a couple of weeks since I've been active here. Reason: This place bores me. The only really interesting thing that has happened is I have Xbox Live now. Not a bad service actually. My gamertag is flamingofeces, so send me a friend request if you feel inclined. That's about all I have, so I'll see you all later.

I got the 360 back from Microsoft!

But, of course, there's a problem. It was in a UPS truck for 5 hours in 30 degree weather. It was INSANELY cold when I took it out of the box. When I turned it on, it started making a horrible clicking noise. As of right now, I'm waiting for it to warm up before I try it again. I don't know how much longer I can go without Halo 3 though. So yeah, that's the only update I have. I'm pretty damn boring aren't I?

I rented Twilight Princess

My impressions:

It's really, really good. I can see why everyone went crazy over the 8.8 last year. I only got the Gamecube version though. The only problem I have is the bad controls. The wolf and underwater controls are very frustrating. My favorite par so far was the Goron sumo wrestling. I also like Minda a lot more than I liked Navi. At least she helps you rather than screaming at you while floating above your head. The bosses are probably the easiest ever in a Zelda game. A three year old could beat some of them. Right now I'm about 22 hours into it.

In other news, I received moderation number 1 the other day. It was for "Intending solely to annoy/offend others" which was honestly not my intent. I guess people take offense to anything these days. I guess that's all from me. Bye all

Making use of time off

Once again, I have fallen ill. Influenza is probably to blame this time. Needless to say, I was at home all day. I made use of the time and wrote a Halo 3 review, which is currently being torn apart by fanboys. I also read the third Harry Potter book and I'm a couple hundred pages into the fourth one. I'ma pretty fast reader. I'm in such a weakened state, that even typing hurts, so I'm going to end it here. Have fun everyone.

Been playing Halo PC and a day off

Today I have a day off, so I've been playing Halo PC. I followed nesman27's example and downloaded the demo. The online play runs suprisingly well considering my 56k syndrome. Who's idea was it to make the Banshees invincible? Doesn't exactly make for balanced gameplay. I also wish that the community had something else to say besides, "You're a *** you ****ing ****er!" I have gotten pretty good at it though. I even got a running riot once. My screen names are jimshorts and analseepage. Look for me if you still play it. I'm tired of loosing connection to the server every time I get a phone call. That's probably the worst problem I have with the whole thing. That, and having to use safe mode because of my yucky graphics card. Every time you close the demo, there's an advertisement for the full Halo PC that's really long. I just press Alt F4 to bypass it.:P In other news, I'm sending off the 360 this weekend. I'm tired of playing games with it. One day it works, the next dayit dies, then it works again. I'mtired of thefreaking thing. I should have gotten a Wii. Well, that's all I have to say. Thanks for reading, andhave a happy weekend.

360: December '06- Present apparently

I've seen a lot of things in my years. Things you wouldn't believe. But I've never seen a 360 come back from a red ring. It just doesn't happen. Or so I thought. I turned it on to look at the pretty red lights, and guess what! The pretty red lights never showed up. Just those generic green ones. Then it started making a horrible cyclone-esque noise, and I got scared that it would explode or something. (Yes that does happen.) I got rid of some of the clutter around it and it works fine now. I guess it was just the overheating lights. The only problem is, overheating light are only half of the ring, but I got 3/4 of the ring red. I think that makes this the...third time it's come back from the dead. I swear, it's like some sort of Jesusbox or something.
