Definitely does need improvements. A simple check of my blog and videos will show youhow devasting this tool is being used. I actually have looked to customer support on this many times with no response. Its great to see a wide variety of users agreeing on this subject's matter.

I think we can all agree that we should improve this poor system because it can easily be abused!
Not to mention I've known people to disable comments on their blogs because of how many thumbs-down they were getting. So yes improve thumbs up or down or get rid of them permanately!

Great examples of some smileys that incorporate BBCode just like Gamespot does.
