Ill give you a reason. This isnt a Square Enix Union. I understand they are connected, but this is a union based solely on Final Fantasy or am I wrong? So its off topic here.
I dont see the relevance of this question....you're asking us to choose between AC being made or a FF8 movie being made. But AC is already done / shipped / bought / seen 10 times. And I wouldnt chose any other movie after ive already seen how awesome it is.

That is AVALANCHE...a rebel group which at the beginning of the game consists of Barret, Jesse, Biggs, Wedge and Cloud helping them
