it seems like you allready have made up your mind so why did you make this forum. Also, I dont see how you could want to buy a system that is made for online play and not be interested in it. You arnt going to be able to dl any extra content for your games withoug the hard drive which is the way most developers are going with their games(lots of downloadable content). You gotta get XBL gold to play Halo 3 multiplayer, its gonna be amazing!!!

well i would prefer a 360 because i prefer there games like, Fable 2 doa4, GTA, virtue tennis 3 etc...

I just dont want to be ringing around and send off a 360 to be repaired, once would be ok but after that would kind of annoye me.

would buying a proper 360 cooler make it more reliable perhaps?

if you want the 360 more than any other console, then get it. It does have some amazing games, and some even better ones(exclusives) coming out in the next couple of months. As with the reliability, your only going to hear the extreme sides of the conversation. Some people are gonna say that they have never had to repair it and some are gonna say that they have had to send it off a couple of times. For me, I've never had any problems with mine and I got it at launch. Its been a great console with something for everyone.

Another thing, dont listen to the people that say that they have had to send in 6 360s. Thats a bunch of crap. Oh yeah, dont buy any 360 coolers, they(somehow) just make things worse by making the console hotter. Dont ask me how they f'ed that one up.

It is pretty out of hand. I don't even really ever put my headseton anymore because I just dont want to listen to someone sing the whole match or scream into the mic.

Yeah,I had that problem with mine before I traded it in for an Elite. I thought that it helped to add sound to Gears. When I chainsawed someone the two sounds would match up and give me an even more realistic sound. It was great. Sadly, my new elite makes no such noise.
